numbers & letters on creed bottles and boxes

hi there im wondering if anyone could let me know if the numbers that feature on the back / side of boxes and on the bottles are the year of production , in partcular the last 2 digits which on my bottles range from 04 to 06 , i just want to make sure i am correct in thinking these are the dates of production of the bottles i have

I think the last 2 digits represent the year of production. 04 means 2004...It's sort of an enigma though, as I've heard some have date codes others are packaged with no indications.
