I'm heading out tomorrow morning for a New Year's cruise through the Caribbean as an entertainer's guest. I've long decided that my daytime bottle would be Creed Virgin Island Water, and was even more sure after MikePerez came back from his PR trip with such VIW success. However, I can't make up my mind on what to take as an evening scent.
I'm going to try to limit it to just VIW for daytime and just one for evenings.. as many others have also experienced, wearing just one for a certain trip/event can make some really incredible olfactory memories every time you smell it again. I stood in front of my collection for 20 minutes earlier just staring and smelling the tops of just about every bottle so I clearly need some input. Ha.
So what in the poll do you think should adorn the black tuxedo and cufflinks? If something else in my wardrobe would be better, I'll take write-ins!

Have a wonderful trip Robbie - yes VIW should dazzle you in the daytime.

I didn't vote for any you listed (love Voleur de Roses, but it is not IMO a happy scent and I would never bring it on vacation with me). Write in: Black Aoud by Montale. I wear BA in Miami at night (in SoBe) and find that it sizzles in the nighttime heat.

Have fun!

from your list: Erolfa

Good luck!

MI blends very well with smell of the breeze coming from the night ocean.

I also agree with Mike's suggestion of Black Aoud.

Haven't had the pleasure of smelling any of your choices, so my write in vote will go to Havana...

My top choice from your collection would be Erolfa; I also second Mike's suggestion of Black Aoud.

As Havana was not a choice, I would pick Erolfa.

I voted for Erolfa but I would write in the Different Company's Jasmin de Nuit or Le Labo's Bergamote 22.

I voted for MI and then read you'd consider others so I suggest Soliel de Capri from your enviable wardrobe.
