Paul Smith Story = Versace Man eau fraiche

PROLOGUE: I just purchased a sample vial of Paul Smith Story and wear it today. A large bottle of Versace Man eau fraiche came into my drawer several months ago.

IMO these 2 are extremely similar. Those who own one of these, please think twice before you make a blind purchase of the other one. The longevity of the two is also about the same, 8 hours plus. Which one do I prefer? Hmmm, Versace wins by only a centimeter due to its stronger projection and that it came out before Story. Both are nice fresh scents, perfect for office wear.

Now, I'd like to know if you agree that they are similar?

I found that the Story has some earthy notes similar to some of those in Terre D'Hermes. I don't get the similarity to the Versace Eau Fraiche.

I don't think they are similar either..
Versace Eau Fraiche is however similar to D&G Light Blue for women...atleast the opening is...The drydown of Versace however is woody...

Paul smith story has this piercing lemony opening that just burns your nose...longevity isnt so good either...

story has an amazingly sharp grapefruit note, and lacks the sweetness of the versace. i don't get many similarities between the two.
