from perfume to fashion

I just got the Roberto Capucci sports coat I won on ebay. The only reason I bought it (and even found it) was my extreme adoration for R de Capucci. That and the fact it cost me 13.50 Euros. It's rusty red and made from coarse wool, for casual winter wear.
I kicked myself for being too slow to get a Lorenzo Villoresi tie recently.

How about you, any perfume-induced fashion acquistions?

Aithough I do have a pair of Versace Intensive underwear that I got as a gift back in 2006, I don't own any Versace fragrances. Still, I would love to have a Thierry Mugler Homme suit someday... but my budget is tight, so I guess my suits will have to have to come from JCPenney in the interim.

Interestingly enough, there's also been at least one case of perfume-induced fashion lines... Jean Paul Gaultier launched a Gauliter To The Power of Two unisex fashion line in 2006, inspired by you-know-what.

Well, I don't know if I'll ever get one of their suits, but Domenico Caraceni's fragrance has gotten me interested in the Roman tailor shop, and expect I will peek in there when I go this May. I love Kiton frag and ties, but the suits are overpriced and I have another option in New York for about half the price. Venanzi, which does not have a fragrance.
