Sharing the house with tigs , but it's Putain des Palaces for me.

However, after reading my brother's SotD, I long for some Vétiver Oriental as well, with its wonderful green leather vibe....

Have a good start of the week, all!

Am testing a scent which promised to bring in a breath of spring... and the descriptions did not lie
SotD Début by Delrae

I am not a fan of linden and was a bit afraid I would dislike this intensely but Debut is surprising me...

Le Baiser du Dragon parfum for me, while I try to figure out my tax return *groan*.
Why do I leave everything until the last minute?

later
Nope, Bal a Versailles shouted to me as I reached for the Dragon's box. Since this is an 'at home' day I thought why not? This is my first try of it and wow! It's big! So this is civet, eh? Explains why I like Jicky so much.

I am fragrance-free today but want to wear a SotE later. I forgot to transfer my little box of frags from one bag to another where I'd hoped to find Chergui, so I will raid the emergency supplies in my office drawer. I will go out probably wearing Musc Ravageur.

On this first day back from vacation, I am wearing Madame X. It is so enchanting. So glad to read that Ava Luxe will be up and running soon.
Wordbird, I must again try Bal a Versailles. It was my first perfume, at eleven, given to me by my grandmother.

My SotD for Monday was Miss Dior Cherie, and it was absolutely lovely. I layered it on over VS strawberries and champagne bodybutter to great effect. It seemed to last longer, and the two scents complimented one another well.

Yeah it is overwhelming, and I never got around to listing all the scents I used to own and have given away, or the ones not listed in the directory.

I think it is a form of OCD, mixed with a passionate love of fragrance. Guerlain fragrances have always been my faves, followed immidiately by Caron. I am sad to witness the the condition of Guerlain nowadays, and am very stingy in my use of the classics; seeing that they have decided to tweak historic formulas, including my three faves Parure, Shalimar and Chant d'arome.

Llewelyn S T A R D U S T for Men as SotE
Today was Keiko Mecheri A Fleur de Peau. Lovely floral leather; if I didn't already feel attached to Cuir Mauresque this would be a serious contender.

Tonight I'll probably wear KM Loukhoum to bed, and I wore Navegar to the gym this morning (first time from a sample - meh.)

Twinning with Tao today - icy rain and deep grey skies brings Tabac Blond out in all it's glory.

Guerlains and Carons are definitely at the top of the heap for me too, although I couldn't hope to ever own full bttls. of all the ones you have. Lucky you!

I....I don't know what got into me. I applied kai lotion after my shower. I was just missing it, but it was so wrong. Not good. A bit later, while still disturbed, I splashed the entire sample vial of DSH Mimosa on one sleeve, and then a bit more later, DSH En Fleur on the other. I am compelled to share this, as I feel it may be some kind of warning. Am I headed for a breakdown? Should I seek help now?

I wore my last little corner of Badgley Mischka

Shycat, at least you went for flowers.

My last breakdown consisted of an attempt to wear Heeley Cedre. Realizing that this was all wrong and having no time to scrub - I decided to try and cover it with Montale's Sweet Oriental Dream.

Oh yeah - then I went to work in an outpatient clinic.

If you ever feel a need to smell like a hooker that hasn't bathed in a week - this is the combination....
