What Female Scent Do You Wear?

Thread Starter
What female scents do you wear and which ones that you haven't tried yet that you will? I wear: Black Cashmere, Donna Karen New York 1992, Black Orhcid, Tabac Blond Extrait, Habanita extrait, Kingdom, Bal A Versailles extrait, Mitsouko edp, Opium toilette and extrait.

Aside from the scents you have mentioned... I've worn these scents 'marketed as feminine' :

Eau Des Merveilles,
Baiser du Dragon,
Samsara
Dune
Prada
Habanita
Nu
Omnia
Black Cashmere

a.
I also enjoy Habanita, and if you consider Carnal Flower "feminine" I wear that, too.
Compared to some, I am way behind the times! I have tons of stuff to try yet...

I own and wear:

McQueen Kingdom
Creed Fleurs de Bulgarie
Hermes Eau des Merveilles

I think that is all of the ones I have marketed to women.

My favorites are Chanel Bois des Îles and Caron Tabac Blond. Both of these work very well on my skin.

The other night I was home wearing Tabac Blond Extrait on my left arm and both Bois des Îles Extrait and Bois des Îles EDT on my right arm. What a trip! I was in olfactory heaven, although I must say would never wear this combination out in public.

I have also worn Guerlain Mitsouko and Guerlain L'Heure Bleue. I am soon going to be testing some other Guerlain female fragrances, including Shalimar, Jicky, Vol de Nuit, Attrape Coeur, and Apres L'Ondee.

In the past, I have also worn Chanel Cuir de Russie. I tried a number of other female Carons besides Tabac Blond, but none of them seemed to work very well for me.
I wear Tom Ford's "Black Orchid", and Paul & Joe's "Blanc" out of the house, and the very occasional puff of Narciso for Her around the home when I crave its white-hot musc.

Evogel, you make me smile.

Lately I too have been using Chanel No.19. Like you I've used Tabac Blond and Poivre in extrait (you and I probably went in together a few years ago on a group purchase of Poivre. I don't get enough chances to wear it, doggone it, but man, does it ever teach you the mastery that Caron can put together).

I've spent about three days in a row wearing Jolie Madame in edt, because I got multiple bottles from a discount outlet store, and I was digging it strongly, even though it calls to mind women's perfume history. The first half of it is heavy with a lilac note, and then the stuff goes over leathers. Wow. I'll wear it, but I do want to smell it on women very much.

I got Caron's Bellogia in edp because Equipage turned me on to carnation scents. Bellodgia is da bomb karnazion. Pure and thick.

Jicky in edt and edp, although I guess the general consensus here is this is as much a man's scent as it is a woman's.

Robert Piquet's Bandit in edt and edp. A trip. Each a trip. Like variations on Bel Ami. Similar to the old darkness in Jolie Madame too, but each a wonderful and different experience.

Parure edt I've meant to wear but keep forgetting. I've only shot my wrist a few times with my bottle. I must change this.

Hiris is a favorite now. What can I say but that I love iris very much. I could go into some superlatives about this blend, but I can't think of them now. The juice deserves them though.

I used to wear Molinard's Habanita until my mom wanted my bottle. It's close enough to Creed's vintage Tabarome so that I use the latter when I need the feeling. I also have Molinard's Vervienne en Fleurs, which is an edt blend of verbena and jasmine, for the most part. I love verbena in the summer, so I use it then.

There were a few more on my mental list just now, but I suddenly can't remember them. I guess I'll have to add another post later.

A compliment to be asked! Thanks.

Shalimar (any concentration, but esp. edt and edp)
Kingdom (edp)
Aromatics Elixir (Clinique's best -- what's not to like?)
Black Cashmere (definitively unisex in the first place)
Bal a Versailles (edt only -- kissing cousin to Shalimar and Habanita)
Habanita (any concentration)
Aliage (Aramis 900 on acid)
Azuree (Aramis' slightly nelly, terribly dapper cousin.)
Cinnabar (The poor man's JHL.)
Magie Noire (try it -- you'll love it)
Je Reviens (bath oil concentration mixed with pure patchouli oil -- a secret indulgence)
Tabac Blond (when I can find it without having to mortgage the house)

D&G Light Blue
SJP Lovely
DK Black Cashmere
Anything else I can steal from my missus. ;-)
Habanita
Bandit EDP
Hermes Eau des Merveilles

I would love a bottle of Black Cashmere...
and Kingdom too... While I probably wouldn't wear it often, I'd always like to be able to smell it when I'm craving it...

Narciso Rodriguez
Mitsouko
Black Orchid and D&G Light Blue (for women) are the main two, but I also like L'artisan's pour un ete too.
I have worn a few in the past....but currently..Le Labo Patchouli 24. According to the BN directory, it's a female scent....strange, but the only one I wear now.

Before, it was Tabac Blond Parfum..and a few others.
None. I find too many mens' fragrances too feminine.
Sometimes I wear my girlfriend's "vageen" on my face and neck, but I have yet to receive any compliments. Maybe I should switch brands?
I walked into Sephora today and went right the the Tom Ford Black Orchid display. There were 2 SA's present when I picked up the tester. The one woman said, "You know that's for women" I replied, "I know, and there's a lot of men buying this as well." and proceded to do a close spritz to my right wrist. everyone came up to smell it and winced, including myself" I said, this is defintely a dry down fragrance"

It did hit us all heavy when first sprayed. (of course) It smells awesome to me now.

It almost reminded me---kind of---that Tom Ford for men is to Black Orchid, what B-men is to Angel.

To my nose anyway.

I guess I can see why some men enjoy the more concentrated and longer lasting versions of many women's perfumes. Intensity, longevity and perhaps sillage as well as having a new fragrance.

You might have to, the House of Creed doesn't make Kingdom.

Thank you, Borat! LOLOLOLOLOL -- there's a new thread: what would Borat wear? I'm leaning toward One Man Show, but I digress.

Btw, forgot to add to my earlier list a female frag I wish I could get away with (but can't): Anaïs Anaïs by Cacharel.
(I mean, there's daring, and then there's mild gender-bending, and then there's downright olfactory transvestitism.)
If it hadn't be for this answer, I would have missed out on the funniest post since January 1, 2007 !

Two Balmains that would be marketed to both genders if released today: Ivoire ** and Balmain de Balmain *****
post #36 of 82
Ivoire is very nice, yes. Haven't ever tried Balmain de Balmain.
Odd...I seem to like all the scents guys would wear. (Then again I'm the kind of woman who deadlifts 250lbs, likes action movies and despises chick flicks, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised, really).
Indiscreet,
Yuuup. Deadlift 250lbs, like action movies, despise chick flicks. Yup, that's us!
Love ya!

You make yourself sound so un-feminine, i'm sure you're not like that, but then again, I presume quite a few of the guys on here are probably more feminine than most women

I enjoy wearing:

Kingdom
Bandit
Tabac Blond
Black Orchid
and Mitsouko Parfum!

But, I haven't tried most of the Women's scents that I want to, as usually when I go sniffing, my GF is with me, and she might get a bit freaked out :P

" "- Innocent

I use these at times when I dont use A-Men. I am intrigued by DK-Blasck Cashmere and tried a few samples so far on my wrists, but not yet made a decision to get one.
I am not in opposition to wearing a female fragrance, I just never found one that I thought I could pull off. I threatened to wear the womens light blue when it came out but decided it was too sweet and floral for me to accomplish. To date, I have never purchased or worn a female fragrance.
I don't own any female scents, but I used to be a SA at a fragrance counter, and would frequently reach for Omnia & Eau de Merveilles. Once in a while, Prada or Baiser du Dragon.
Although, I'm beginning to wear quite a few these days, the main ones are

Covet (which gets picked up more often than I care to admit ...I actually have cravings for it!)
Diorella (yum!)
Infusion d'Iris
Tabac Blond
Parfum Sacre
Kingdom ... to name a few
Wow, that's funny. Just yesterday I made a conclusion that Cabochard could be a good fragrance for men. And convinced to try Gardenia from Chanel on. It made me even to write down a blog. And today... I see all this.

Well - almost any perfume I try on the strip at home I also try on my skin. And I've got some nice idea's for outside as well, while browsing the answers.

I do wear:
Cedre, Chypre Rouge, Clair de Musc van SL

I did try and did like:
Gardenia Chanel pure and in combination with Clair de Musc SL
Cabochard Gres
Mitsouko EDT (wanna EDP now)

I will surely do try:
Tuberose Criminelle SL
Shalimar
Carnal Flower
Black Orchid
and the rest from what is mentioned here or not yet

And I even may give a try to
Champs Elysee
Poison (not sure, wanna find a similar fragrance).
Never worn female fragrances, but if I were going to, the one that I covet most jealously from my soon-to-be ex wife's collection is Prada Infusion D'Iris. There's talk of a male version of this coming out. I would sleep all night on the pavement to be the first in line for that one.

I would wear Jicky though and i have a bottle of Eau D'Hermes arriving imminently. I have also just bought on spec (it was really inexpensive) a bottle of Fracas Homme by Piguet just simply because I like the female version so much.

I couldn't wear a lot of female scents though, they are to feminine on my skin.
