Gents,

Has anyone tried the edp version of Encre Noire yet? Please let me know your findings and where you were able to test it.

Thanks

I have the EDT and really like it but it is really light and not enough staying power. The EDP version sounds great but I don't want to pay $750 for a crystal bottle. I really hope they release it in a regular bottle.

OK! The edt has been out for 2 years now, right? Has no one yet smelled the edp?

I've tested the EdP, and it comes off as a more powerful and "juiced up" version of Encre Noire. The spicyness in the topnotes last much longer comparing the two side by side. During the middle notes & basenotes the EdT takes on a dry, dark tone very quick compared to the EdP - which is still going strong after 1 hour (the woods are still there). The EdT seemed to take on that dark vetiver smell after only moments, and I can't see myself buying it in that strength as a few monotonous vetiver fragrances are already in my wardrobe.

I also applied 2x more of the EdT during this.

I'm left thinking "I'm not sure it's worth the $750 price tag." (Maybe if I collected crystal? )

NEoTY26,
Where were you able to sample this? I'm dying to get a sample.
Thanks
