Thread Starter
Can't believe I am starting the SotD thread so late - where are you, early birds?

I am wearing the incredibly smooth and sexy

Profumum Fiore d'Ambra

Have a nice day, folks!

Serge Lutens Chypre Rouge.
This one is a real oddity and much as I'm fascinated by it, I find it hard to wear. I am looking to cull some of my collection and this one will be among those I get rid off.

Mitsouko again...

Kenzo Amour perfumed body nectar - "frangipani blossoms from Bali or Borobudur, cherry blossoms from Japan, thanaka wood (worn by women and children in Myanmar), incense and rice, vanilla and white tea from China." but if you hadn't read that you'd think of honey.

And over that is SL's great AMBRE SULTAN

I am very happy with the way I smell this morning.

Today I enjoyed a beautiful sunny day in Miss Dior Cherie. A big thank you to the lovely TaoLady for choosing this one for me! I haven't worn it yet this month, and while I kept thinking I should wear it, I always would end up in something else for some reason. THOROUGHLY enjoyed it today!

Sun, Moon and Stars

Then wore The Body Shop Vanilla oil to go shopping in the afternoon. Tried something by Antonia's Flowers which I can't remember the name of, but mixed with the vanilla it smells yum!

Working again today then I'm off the rest of the week! Wearing Barbara Bui today.

L'Heure Bleue edp!

You all smell gorgeous !
It's pretty bitter here-
My first day off in ages.
I think I'll start off in Bellodgia edp, then Ambre Antique, after the gym.

Hope you're feeling better Lievje-
And Dee.

Twill Rose - Parfume de Rosine , instead of the cold today !
Got a generous sample of

Aomassi
from Sloan-8013
and am going to try to make it last all day. Thought I could stay away from sweetness for a few days but this is hazelnuts - and licorice and oranges and wodsy grasses and totally edible.....I have the moral fibre of an egg.

Sestra, you must smell wonderful! Those are two great favorites of mine. I've never thought to layer them but now you're giving me ideas

Editions de Parfums Frederic Malle Musc Ravageur for me today.

Take care, everyone!

Hi, gang!

BITTER cold here, and awoke to our heater having conked out. Re-set the heat and am trying to warm up in Creative Scentualization Love Comes From Within.

Notes: Clove top note, mid-notes of spicy carnation and rose, base note accord of Tunisian amber, French vanilla, clean musk and Indian sandalwood.

td, With me in Kenzo/Lutens and you in MR, we could ravish one another.
My Kenzo came from a little sample, and I'm so pleased with it that I'll buy a full one. The same Kenzo shower gel wasn't up to much, though, I couldn't get a lather from it and it didn't have much fragrance.

A lovely sunny day and we're heading for a playdate - coffee then the park. (Oh - for non-parents, a playdate is when two or more small children and their parents get together to go to the park or suchlike.)
Anyway. Vol de Nuit Evasion again. This one's getting to be a favourite.

I'm with all those who are bitter cold today
it's -15°C / 8°F, please stay warm and cozy all .

My SotD is SL Cedre, hope it warms and cheers me up

Hope you got your heat back on! Tis cold here in the Catskills too - I'm going to stay inside today and rest - still trying to shake this cold but feeling better.

Sotd - Sira des Indes - trying to see how long it will last without respraying.

For me, it's Lubin's Idole today. I fall in love with this scent every time I wear it; it always amazes me how good it smells (rhum, spices...not too sweet, not too heady...just perfect)
Hope all of you in cold areas can warm up and stay warm!

I'm in Houbigant's Quelque Violettes. I've discovered that violet is a note I can handle, except for Marc Jacobs' Violet.
Well it is absolutely freezing here today, I really wish I were on a lovely tropical island, and I need a cozy warm fragrance.
Well, I guess it will be Nuit de Noel extrait. I hope it keeps me warm, -13C is just not a fun feeling.

Here in NW Indiana we're havin' a heat wave! Yep, 12 degrees f.!!!!

SAFARI! Thanks to tvlampboy ~ I was one of the lucky winners in his Haiku contest! ~

This stuff is great! Starts out like Chanel's #19, but morphs into a gorgeous sweet & spicy wooded wonder. Where have I been all these years??? Safari will push me into taking another look at Lauren's fragrance line...
It's a cold, sunny day here. My (gapyear) son just sent me a postcard from
Hawaii!! I'm wearing the very lovely Casaque and wishing it was me on Waikikii
beach.
Bois d'Ombrie for me today -- just bought a big bottle from sjas1962 last week.

Btw, ubuandibeme, glad to hear that you're enjoying the Safari. Along with Lauren and Tuxedo, it was one of Lauren's best efforts. Why RL ever discontinued it is way beyond my understanding.

Hermes - Kelly Caleche.

There is a sickly sweet note in here (reminds me of that yucky synthetic Passionfruit hand soap from Bath and Body Works) that weaves in and out of a beautiful iris/wood/leather combo.

I have a feeling my body has glommed onto a note that it doesn't like and amplified it.

Anyone else have the same problem with this scent or has my nose gone completely wonky?
Temperature also drops to 8 degrees over here in HK.
SOTD: Hypnotic Poison (received one compliment from my male colleague again)
Bedtime scent: Kama by Ava Luxe
I'm wearing Jicky today. This fragrance has always felt cosmopolitan, hip, modern to me.
Domenico Caraceni by Domenico Caraceni (last few drops from my sample - thanks Michael)

Hove RUE ROYALE ... maybe I'll buy myself a bottle of this for Valentine's Day.

Hello, all my lovelies--wish we could all be enjoying a playdate together--somewhere sunny and warm and humid.
Joining THERESE in JICKY this morning. The weather is finally warming up and the sun is shining. I'm longing for summer!

My sister and hubby left Sat. on a two week trip to Cuba. *sigh*

I think you should get a bottle of this as it seems to be growing into a favorite. I am leaning toward trying one of their sampler packages!

Today I am wearing Bourbon French Mon Idee....carnations on steroids.

Had huge difficulties getting access to the internet, and I've resently just had the chance to log in! Tromsø today is really wet with lots of slippery ice.Really longing for summer now! Happily wore the scent chosen by LIB for me today, which was Trouble....Looked for the sample of Coromandel(chosen by Silverbullet),but couldn't find it this morning...Anyway,hope you all warm up today!

Trussardi Uomo as SotD

Day off with the dog today. I'm rarely home by myself anymore...

I'm in Musc Ravageur today. I'm getting little hints of musk this time instead of just amber and vanilla. It's lovely either way. And I have Zagorsk on one wrist. I find it has a bit of that "cold birch tree" smell that I love mixed with some warming spices. Thanks to Michael for both these samples!

Y'all smelled so wonderful today...

I had brought home a bunch of oriental lilies to give to my retreat ladies on Saturday and had a few left. They have filled my little house with that spicy, rich loveliness and so I think I'll wear Serena's Lily to bed.
Have to be at the flower shop at the crack of dawn these next few days - this will put me into a blissful sleep.....

I did not get online to post my SOTD for Tuesday, my husband was home sick with the flu. I was busy waiting on him hand and foot, and making a chicken soup from scratch (He's convinced my chicken soup has healing powers.) So while I mostly smelt of chicken soup, I did spritz on some Azzaro Orange Tonic (in the hopes that somehow it will ward off flu bugs).
