im not sure if anyone has problem with some of the scents out there...scents like FCUK him and presense leaves rashes on me with continuos use..is this a common problem...?

Never had a problem like this (yet...), but Scent Intense leaves a sticky/shiny residue on my skin after applying. It seems to disappear after a few hours and I like the juice, so I don't see it as a problem

I get a wicked skin rash and athsmatic symptoms when I try to wear Tabac Blond. Utter tragedy!

Paloma Picasso Minotaure gives me a sick rash. It's a shame, because it's a nice scent. I would assume that the more synthetic scents are more likely to leave rashes.

Rashes are many times an allergic reaction - so if you get one - you really should not use that scent anymore!

Given the number of people with pollen, sap, animal danger or similar reaction, I don't think that one could say with certainty that natural chemicals are "safer" in this regard than synthetics.

scents with limonene and some other chemicals are said to be the major cause of these....limonene being the most common

aramis is pretty harsh, scent wise, on my skin

Several of the Diptyque scents sting me on first applcation to my neck and shoulders. It goes away after a minute or two, but yowser, it makes you know you've applied something.

Luckily nope Then again I wear stuff quite lightly, and on parts where I dont usually develop rashes (chest, forearms). I always get a rash after shaving, so I try to avoid sparying my neck. Although I find Bvlgari pH works ok (about 30 mins) after aftershave... Might be the tea or something in it?

That's how Jaipur was for me. It burned my skin when I put it on

hmmm..so its a pretty common thing. i guess someone should have a clinic dedicated to this. im sure we can minimise this by avoiding fragrances comprising certain elements which is allergic to each own...

I am glad I never had this happened to me, but many people I know had allergic reactions to various cosmetic products. The best thing to do is avoiding them as soon as you discover they give you a problem.

Diptyque's Eau de Lierre stung my sister's skin when she put it on her wrist, and it started to turn red... naturally, she washed it off. I wonder what particular ingredient would cause that? It'd certainly be good to know.

Michael kors for men ...l eft my skin red, dry...had to stop application for a week

Just discovered this morning that I had a rash I'd never seen before on both my wrists, and also the spot on my neck - right where I had sprayed Gris Clair minutes ago. Wasn't itchy at all, just a little red, and fortunately it went away after half an hour.

I'm wondering whether I should let go of my Gris Clair. I've just bought my new bottle a week ago, and I absolutely love the stuff. In fact, I think I can live with a rash if that's what it takes to have Gris Clair on me. I'm really torn. Do we have any dermatologists here, I wonder?

your immediate solution would be to spray on your shirt until you see a dermatologist...also spray some in air and run your hand thru it..tht way it wont be concentrated in one area...like in this case..wrist and neck...

Same here. Yatagon and JHL can be rough on me, but I can tolerate the JHL better.

Here is another vote for Jaipur Homme, both the eau de toilette and the perfume. My skin never turns red or rashy, but I can feel the product making the skin of my forearms feel like I have a slight burn.

My Antaeus and my wife's No. 5 produce mild asthmatic symptoms in both of us. But we love them both, so we put up with it.

As far as something that is just harsh on the nose, Bulgari Pour Homme Extreme. I love this one, too, but the harsh opening note never really goes away on me--causing my nose to kind of burn.

Waaaaa, Waaaa, Waaaa. I know. Stop with the whining.
