I'd 'hit' a couple of the Ladies!

But Tom Cruise does look like that...

And I think you meant West Virginia, not Tennessee...

I live in TN and I don't remotely resemble any of those people but I think I have seen them at Wal Mart recently.

You mean that you don't have any little honeys in Canada that look like our fine Tennessee women?
Actually there are some really nice looking women in Tennessee.

Ha ha!

But I gotta say, some of the hottest women in the US are in the South...they are big on their beauty pageants and looks, except if you go to the very rural areas. Anyone been on the campuses of Vanderbilt in Nashville or Emory in Atlanta?

Plus many of the stars in Hollywood and the music industry are also from the South (Mathew McConaughey, Julia Roberts, Jessica Simpson, Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Reese Witherspoon, and many more)

I couldn't tell you.. it's hard to see our pretty Canadian women when they are cloaked completely in parkas in this -20 celcius weather! If you're lucky though, you can catch a glimpse at some 'forehead..' (swoon)

OMG.

We are outside of Nashville and I swear, the first 3 look like the teachers here. That's why we homeschool! LOL!

The artists and some of the musicians are very fashion forward, though. Please believe me!

Cute ferret in the Cameron piccy!

Hilarious! Reminds me of my last high school reunion.

I especially love the Paris Hilton one -- that god-awful Eighties she-poodle mullet was especially (albeit inexplicably) popular among at least 9/10ths of the Southern gals I went to high school with. (Scary thing is, I still see this unbelievably bad haircut all over the U.S. and Canada even today -- I guess it's proof positive that inbreeding and bad taste are equally widespread and remarkably enduring.)

The town of Chesterton, IN (where I live) is only 45 miles outside Chicago, IL ~ one of the world's most major cities. Chicago and it's surrounding area is repleat with culture, art, great shopping, plenty of newspapers, magazines and television...and yet... I think I have actually seen all of these people out and about in my neighborhood!!! Good grief!

True to life for sure. I cannot even begin to describe how accurate these pics are. What kills me is this thing that southern women do with sweatshirts and sweaters during holidays. They wear these thematic sweaters they either aquire from a craft show or design themselves which is representative of the current holiday. Example: Easter - Giant bunny with eggs all around, Halloween - giant pumpkin face with glitter everywhere, or Christmas - Santa and Reindeer flying over a house. Horrible stuff, just horrible. They are all oversized and drape over their fat asses supposedly fooling everyone into thinking they are really not that big.

Hey man, I thought that that was just a Missouri thing. Its like that where you are too?

Yep. I am from Alabama, but have lived in Memphis for 20 years. My mother did the thematic sweater thingee and my sister still does. I just don't get it.

The other thing I notice alot is the handmade/craft jewelry that is worn by many women. Jewelry obviously made in someone's spare bedroom on a 50$ budget. Large ball earrings, huge broaches coated in acrylic, big bangle bracelets too. All handpainted with glitter, beads, etc...Just makes me stare in amazement.

Do you not know that the holiday sweater/sweatshirt knows no regional or socioeconimic boundries? My teenage daughters and I refer to those oversized gems as "butt-hugging" sweaters

Oh god I knew a woman who did that. She was an American based in England, yet she still wore this horrendous Halloween/Christmas/insert date here themed jumpers. She had big poodle hair too.
