As far as I know, the fragrance has not been changed.

Like smellyliquid, I would like to know more about its lineage:

1. Perfume Intelligence says that Mediterraneum was developed "in association with Proteo Profumi; an oriental-spicy edt"

2. 99perfume's ad copy says "Launched by the design house of Mediterraneum in 1993, MEDITERRANEUM COLOGNE is classified as a refreshing, oriental fragrance. This masculine scent possesses a blend of fresh oriental amber, spice and aromatic woods. It is recommended for evening wear."

3. perfumeworld.net says:

"Mediterraneum (Men) : Shopping (FragranceNet)
1993 Versace Profumi(I.C.R.) Italy
Olfactive family:Oriental Spicy
Olfactive description:Citrus Marine Spicy Woody Musky"

So we have Versace, Proteo and Mediterraneum all somehow involved with this fragrance and then we have to toss Fabio into the mix!

Can anyone enlighten us?
