Tomorrow (23rd), I'll wear Hammam Bouquet. I need something exotic to impress an old friend who I'll meet for lunch. Hammam Bouquet, with its powerful, airy rose, is perfect for the occasion.

Today I wore Bulgari pour Homme at a dinner party. Light and inoffensive, and the food was delicious.

Sleepless in S.C. and stealing the March (heh heh) in Dior's DIVINE...

J' Adore by Calice Becker. Notes include: tangy mandarin, ivy leaves, champaca flower, red orchids, white roses, violets, Damascus plum, amaranth wood and blackberry musk.

This is lush and lovely on me - a perfect frag for Bunny Day and the continuing celebration of Women's Diversity!! (Plus I love the play on "I love" and "I am Golden"!!)

(2004)

Top Notes: Hawthorn, Cardamom
Middle Notes: Iris Pallida, , Apricot Stone
Base Notes: Musk, Heliotrope, Leather
A soft suede leather wrapped in spice, earthy roots, and flowers — but flowers that evoke almonds, cherries, and more spice.
This one is smooth, subtle, sleek, and suave; it's a sibilant alliteration of a scent that speaks with a confident and measured tone.
(Hey, PigeonMurderer! We're scent twins today!)

Kouros Tattoo-- wore that to work earlier and it was great. Had some coworkers rate it and they all liked it.

Ambre Sultan-- right now, because of Lucious' thread. heh-heh.

Prada Amber Pour Homme-- later for Easter/work-- it smells like purple to me, so it's great for Easter.

CDG - Vettiveru again

I think this one could be a signature warm weather scent for me. Vettiveru and Terre d'Hermes are, right now, my top spring/summer staples.

Happy Easter to all those celebrating and very, very happy birthday wishes to Serena and Ayala! Many happy returns of the day.

Even before I knew of the birthday celebrations, my selection for today was Ava Luxe Midnight Violet. This is the only violet noted scent I've found to date that manages the "velvety" aspect of violets (which I love) rather than "powdery," which I do not like. Beautiful.
