Hello everyone. I'm almost through reading a book on clothing and style, and it had a primer on colognes and usage. I also just learned about the three "notes" and about certain kinds of ingredients.
I then learned that the two colognes I currently own are better suited for night-time and more formal uses, is that correct?
Armani Code (black)
Polo Black
I read something online about how daytime scents need to be more "citrusy" or lighter "floral" stuff. I would like a suggestion as to what scents I should look into. I want something flexible and more casual. I attend professional school and will be in the hospital most of the time, but I'd also hope to be able to use this cologne for lunch dates, etc. Unless the two I already own are just fine, then I'll save the money!
I don't care if I end up with 20 suggestions, it will be a good place to start for me. After my next exam I'll go sniffing around some department store.
Also, I still don't know if the two colognes I listed above have different uses as well. I basically just use what I feel in the mood for. I noticed that some people have "interpretations" for certain colognes, would anyone mind sharing some for those two?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm very glad that I found this forum.
