hey everyone,

hope evrybody is having a great weekend!

I know there is a thread about juicy dirty english, but my spin is slightly different so no one yell at me! Ha ha...here goes...dirty english most certainly is the love child of michael kors and gucci pour homme. Its smokey and somewhat boozy...and very masculine. To me it smells like you are drinking an old scotch with all its woody glory while smoking a strong cigar...i like it better than gucci pour homme and i really like Gph.

As for Cedre, this might be one of the quietest frags i have ever encountered. the back of the bottle lists cedr, musc and vetiver as the notes...all i smell is a light musc, with a hint of cedar...its whisper quiet and slightly powdery, but i think i really like it! Im going to give it a few wearings before i make up my mind

Now Smell This also made the connection with Gucci PH, and I think a few of the other Basenoters agreed as well. I haven't smelled it but I've heard quite a bit about it. I thought it had a lot in common with M7.

i have only tried m7 once and i wasnt impressed...it had a sweet vibe with it that i didnt like, but this is a cross between kors and gucci...leaning more towards gucci...still its pretty damn good considering its juicy

yeah it does...i dont find it as prominent, but its certainly there...its much more subdued.

Be sure not to spray Dirty English on any light fabric....because this will stain.....I don't spray fragrance on my clothes but many people do....and this will stain your fabric....Sometimes I can't help if a bit gets on our shirt, because I spray my neck.....Just thought I would sound the alarm.....Gary

I have to admit so far for 2008 - Dirty English is the best fragrance.

I second that Scentimus; Dirty English is awesome, especially for those searching for the "next" Gucci Pour Homme.
