Amazing atomizer

This was a whimsical ebay purchase. The picture was not very good, but a mint pocket atomizer from the Sixties sounded interesting enough. It arrived today and what can I say. Not only is it a fantastic vintage design piece, check the mother-of-pearl, but it's solid brass and amazing quality workmanship. It's filled at the bottom like old lighters, an elegant lock mechanism holds the pump down when not in use, it releases a very fine mist through mechanical pumping (the parts are all metal) and it makes me feel like I'm part of the cast of Casino Royale . It's the "Primadonna Pocket Atomizer" (I'm guessing it was made by a lighter company).

Now guess what fragrance had the honor of being filled into this gem?

I recently either saw this atomizer or one similar and almost bought it. One of the only things that stopped me is the fact that I already have 25+ of those silver Nordstrom atomizers. . . . . Which fragrance to double up on and fill the special atomizer with? (FV) I might still get one.

I have mother-of-pearl cufflinks...it is a beautiful material. I would love to have an atomizer such as yours.

Too bad we can't see the wardrobes so I totally have to guess out of nowhere - Eau Sauvage, or Equipage?

Since it's a pocket atomizer I'll assume that you'll want to fill it with something that might need refreshing several times throughout the day.

And since you are very partial to classic eaus de cologne, I'll bet it will be one of your favorites among them.

Good purchase!

Eau de Butane? Seriously, it's a wonderfully crafted object.

Razor sharp, noggs, razor sharp. It was Villoresi's Acqua di Colonia.
Eau Sauvage was a good guess, too, unless you've read my review of it .
