I could use some help with selecting some new scents for testing. Here is what I have tried so far:

I like:

1. Rocabar
2. DIrty English
3. GIT
4. John Varvatos (it's ok)
5. Cuiron
6. Richard James

I thought these were ok but would not buy a full bottle:

1. Himalaya
2. Erolfa
4. Terre d'hermes (not huge on the citris in it but the drydown is ok).
5. Elegoiste
6. Colonia Intensa (still might like this / going to try the normal one).
7. Acir Aluminum
8. Philosykos (really like this at first but think it might be abit too much).
9. Creed Imperial
10. Creed BDP (liked it 10 years from now - reminds me of my grandfather).

Disliked:

1. Kouros!
2. Black orchid
3. Black Aod
4. M7
5. Royal English Leather (pretty sure I got an old one but the overall scent doesn't do it for me).
6. Grey Flannel
7. YSL Jazz

If you like rocabar, why not get it? Have you tried Equipage?

Sorry, I should have clarified. I have purchased Rocabar and the other 3 scents listed at the top. I have yet to try Eqipage.

Another thing to clarify; are you looking for frags that are different or ones that are similar to what you have? I don't like getting two frags that are too similar, even if they are both excellent.

My current favorites that might be worth a shot-
YSL Live Jazz (mint, citrus and ambergris)
Mugler Cologne (cut grass, vetiver, musk)
Bvlgari pour Homme (citrus, tea, white musk)
Kenzo Air (vetiver, anise)
Rive Gauche pour homme (star anise, woods, 'barbershop' smell)
Joop! Nightflight (clean laundry, pinapple top notes and beautiful almond / sandalwood drydown)

Id also suggest trying some of the other favorites around here, a quick browse through the male fragrance discussion should net you some good stuff to try.

Frags like Kouros, Black Orchid, Black Oud etc. are pretty complex and require extended testing to really determine whether you like it or not. There are a couple of Basenoters here who fell in love with these frags ONLY after a couple of wearings.. go figure.
