Another day in Jasmin et Cigarette, have a wonderful Wednesday!
My 8 year old sister chose my SotD so I was wearing Fantasy.

Wearing Moschino Couture as SotA but it's disappearing fairly rapidly coz I've been cooking this arvo and smell like onions and orange and fried chicken.

Stinking up the place in Muscs Koublai Khan (thanks to Sloan). On my own in the office today so no probs there.

Prada Infusion D'Iris on this cold, wet day in England!
Bring on the Spring weather!!!!
Good morning dears!

Today I'm in

VIP Room

sprayed generously - I've nursed a sample for almost 2 years and I am overjoyed because a generous Basenotes sister-in-scent upgraded me to a decant.

This is Bulgari Black's young cousin, with a touch more fruity frills and curlicues, and that's what I like in it. The notes are tiaré flower, bergamot, tangerine, pineapple, sandalwood, vétiver, birch, iris root, leather, styrax, amber, vanilla, and musk.

Geranium Bourbon - Miller Harris

A blind buy after Wordbird's post about it and... I am HAPPY

J'adore, but I don't really like it all that much. Meh.
Borsari Macchia Mediterranea before the shower. Probably nothing after that for a day of sniffing.

Ce Soir ou Jamais - Annick Goutal
Hello everyone, Caron Aimez-Moi for me today. A wonderful day to all.
Bathed myself in Venus Sands last night -gosh, that stuff is powerful- !
Skanky, feminine, fiercely animalic + indolic. VERY GOOOD !
[Don't think my doc will like it, though- so lather, rinse, and CHANGE, lol !]

Perhaps, a nice layering of SMN Fieno essence w/ Ginestra would be less provocative and more soothing.....for everyone else.

Done, and done.

Hope Lievje's feeling better.
Hope you all are doing well, dear ones !

Hi all!

Chaya, it's good to have you back, how was NY?
I'm okay, thanks, although my wrist still hurts. It's going to take some time.

I'm in Kiehl's Original Musk today.

I had to dig through my samples before finally finding Bandit

It goes splendid with today's avatar. So far, it is neither like or dislike.

SotD - Guerlain Insolence for Conference Day 2.

Don't know why I've been feeling so Guerlainish recently - and since this is the only one I packed, I think my small little sample spray will not make it home with me.

Hopefully, the Ormonde Jayne I packed will get some play tomorrow.....
I'm wearing Chene today.

I will be dashing off to my parents soon.. Mom broke her and I am going to help out. She made it through surgery but there is a long road ahead to get her back home with Dad.

I am new to this whole fragrance thing but It seems to have gotten me already. I grapped a few decants and a handful samples to throw in my suitcase as well as my brand new copy of Perfumes the Guide.

Wearing AMARIGE today...honoring it's worthiness!

It goes splendid with today's avatar and I want to experience why Luca Turin dislikes it.

So far, it is neither like or dislike. I suppose I am not a Caron Woman, with the exception of Caron Pour Un Homme. Would that make me a Caron Man?

Does Caron have a Bandit??

For myself (it's only in the F. forties here...4.4C!!) I need some warmth so I ran for my newest obsession...
Sira des Indes
(for some reason the links to Photobucket - and every thing else - don't seem to work this morning!)
Oooohhhh - I see!! http://community.basenotes.net/showt...42#post1204442

I'm totally with our own Ayala who has this to say: ".... the dessert (Banana Sheera)....even though it has a reference to food, this is neither a typical modern gourmand nor one of those excessive fruity florals. Rather, it's a classic floriental, with a ripe fruity accord (I smell mostly cooked bananas, poached bosc pears and cardamom as the top notes), and with a shamelessly indolic heart of jasmine, champaca, narcissus and ylang ylang. The base is almost like a Guerlinade, with sandalwood and vanilla in almost as high a dose as Samsara, with a soft, musky powdery amber dryout."....aaaahhhhh.

Pink Sugar for a day of website design project, urrg....

I'm in Profumum Santalum. Warming the spring day just enough.

Today I have sprayed Nahema by Guerlain, I'm loving it's 1970's femininity.

No!! I am just stubborn in my mistakes I always, always think Bandit is from Caron instead of Piguet.
I think I am going to label that sample with "this is a Piguet, stupid"

*hmpf, embarrassing, will edit post now*

I'm wearing Fumerie Turque today.

Sis-in-scents with Kewart today, in Prada Infusion d'Iris. Lovely everyday scent and long-lasting too.

I'll be on vacation in Madrid, Barcelona and Paris, next week for two weeks. I think I will be decanting this scent to take with me!

Black Cashmere by Donna Karan
Re-sampling A La Nuit. I had not resorted my Excel sheet and forgot that I tried this out just two weeks ago (and didn't see it down there near the bottom of the list). I like it, but it doesn't match the brown tones of the outfit I'm wearing today. Oh well; if this is the worst mistake I make today, it should be a great day!

p.s. I remembered when the unforgettable blast of pure jasmine hit. This fragrance amazes me!
Guerlain Samsara. I have not worn this in ages and I am asking myself why?
My sotd was Provocative woman. I don't particularly love this scent, but it's ok for work. For the evening I'll probably go to a concert with a local band called Vishnu. Anyway, hope you all have a great day

....Ok,finally decided upon Opium fleur imperiale for the evening and the concert

Welcoming spring today in Ma Griffe-- probably the scent that has most surprised me on my perfume odyssey! I have discovered GREEN! It makes me feel good, and I'm basking in the lovely smell. Happy Wednesday, everyone!

And a relation to Dzing!, too. Fun stuff.

Slept in, unintentionally, and gave myself a refreshing slap of citrus, courtesy of Mandragore.

Very persistently, Juicy Couture kept coming up in dream last night! So I figured I'd better grab my sample and don it this morning. I've resisted it for a long time but it's quite nice, actually... although a bit sweet for me.
Decisions, decisions.

Yesterday I wore WInter Star and it was very admired. I would wear it again but I hate to use it up. And who knows if it will ever be available again!

So today, I am doing something completely different and going with Bvlgari The Rouge. After all the weather is warmer today. Maybe it will finally stay warm.

Jicky extrait with a liberal layering of Mouchoir de Monsieur.

212 Sexy by Carolina Herrera. This is the 'joker' in my pack, not really like anything else in my wardrobe and the one I reach for when I'm in an 'airhead' mood - a bit of a scatty, vague, juvenile mood ackshully! Usually reserve it for weekends only!

Was feeling so sad this afternoon that went to take a nap to avoid thoughty thoughts. BeautyCafe in downtown Plano is history, does not exist anymore, not even the sign on the window. The telephone is a recorded message. Talked to a couple of other shops' owners and one lady said that Lisa was planning to go back to CA in pursuit of happiness.

Poured the whole bunch of L'Artisan Fleur d'Oranger (2005) on myself and zonked out.

wow didn't see that coming. I thought you were friends with Lisa? Odd that she didn't let you know. The website is still up, is she still selling through it?
Not sure. I tried to call them all day Tuesday and today to NA. LiveHelp feature is also gone. Still so sad to even think about it.

Just can't get enough of SL Fleurs de Citronnier these days. It was SotD and I spritzed some on this eve, as well.
