You know, I've read some nice stories about friendly Basenoters sending each other samples or even complete bottles for free, simply because they want to share the joy of their hobby. I wouldn't have expected it to come to me! 
Today I have received a bottle of Floris Eau de Santal from a VERY generous Basenoter, just because he wanted to share. I'm so happy with it! As a student, I don't have much to spend on this expensive hobby, so I have been hunting it down online for a long period. But to be given such a nice gift leaves me speechless.
Floris' line of men's fragrances are often touted as "Gentlemens' colognes", and in this case it was a gift from a gentleman who doesn't mind sharing his interests.
