Invasion Barbares by MDCI
It`s the one and only commercial example of Stephanie Bakouche work - and one could easily see why Turin&Sanchez named her as one of the best young perfumers right now.
(By the way, I`m really sorry that she is not creating perfumes right now but working as SA in L`Artisan flagship store in Paris. Really sorry. Her last trials I had a chance to sniff were quite promising)

Cartier
Déclaration Eau Généreuse
(2003)
Jean-Claude Ellena

Top Notes: Mandarin, Neroli, Coriander, Bergamot, Artemisia, Caraway, Russian Birch
Middle Notes: Cardamom, Black Pepper, Jasmine, Juniper, Orris Root, Iris, Cinnamon, Ginger
Base Notes: Cedar, Vetiver, Leather, Amber, Oakmoss, Tea Notes
A version of Déclaration that accentuates the eau-de-cologne notes. Given the complexity of the scent, this is in the nature of an eau chaude.
It's my favorite incarnation of Déclaration precisely because of the marriage of the warm elements with the eau-de-cologne style of formulation.

Huge disappointment, for I really thought I would like this one. It's not bad smelling, just completely boring, imho.

Le Labo Rose 31

I wore it to work and enjoyed it. I'm always hesitant to wear scents with cumin-- some work on me (Erolfa, Baldessarini) and some don't (Declaration Essence). I can't say exactly why, but Rose 31 reminds me A LOT of Baldessarini, even though the notes aren't even similar.

But still from my decant. I, gentleman, am the kid who takes forever on the diving board psyching himself up while other wait their turn. Damnit, a real vampire would be spraying this stuff out of an opaque black bottle.

I Profumi di Firenze Magnifico 9 - Pepperoncini.

Marketed as a men's frag, but it's very feminine to my nose. Not floral - a spicy Oriental that I just don't care for. First frag from iPdiF that I don't like.
