I've learnt to look past the name Usher and now the scent is growing on me. It reminds me of the day I bought it...whenever I smell it I think of a hot day we had last week, going to watch football then in the pub etc etc...nice memories.

I hear a lot of good things about Sean Johns Unforgivable. Worth a purchase? I seem to be buying these things like a collector nowdays...hardly use em. I have about 18 scents now, I love them all...oh lord help me lol

IMO Unjustified by Classic Match is identical to Unforgiveable, but lasts a bit longer... and is about 1/9th the price!

unforgivable is a very classier and softer version of the ST dupont PH and it changes its character completely in its drydown in comparison with ST. unforgivable has a much smoother (creed like) drydown. like anthony mentioned, the downfall could be its lasting...you may need to apply it liberally.

one other thin that i noticed were the subtle notes...it doesnt come out of the spritzer saying "hey! im here to impress you to death!! im sean john - Unforgivable!!" it more to be savored, you have to be patient with it and by third day you would start loving it...and missing it.

overall a good frag.

Usher smells to me like Hugh Parsons 99 Regent Street gone bad!

Sorry, I just don't like it.

Unforgivable is better, but as said before, is too close to Imperial but not as good.

^ I wouldn't spritz Usher HE on me even with a gun pointed to my head.

Unforgivable's likeness to Creed's Milliseme Imperial is quite stark - I smelled Unforgivable for the first time yesterday and usually a "copy" frag has some but not all notes in common, but not this one - it was almost exact.

The drydown on Unforgivable is less refined IMO, given to a plastic and chocolate type of feel (at least from the one smelling I got). It reminded me of a candy bar wrapper. It was subtle though, so if you want to smell like MI at less than half of the price, then I say go for it.

Personally, I wouldn't do it, but as always, be sure it works on your skin.
