Best cheapo frags that are like niche or near niche?

I thought it would be good to start a thread on this subject. For example, I've got Cuba Black, which smells like ashes mixed with a nice soapy/floral scent. If this, or something like it, was marketed by a niche company, would anyone who buys niche regularly think twice about it? Or is there a sort of niche police out there? LOL.

I think you are touching a very important isse when it comes to niche fragrances... Label.

My list would be:
Dreamer.
Tabac Cologne.
Visit (?)
Jovan Musk and White Musk.
Eau d'Orange VErte
CK Be (very CdG and I hate perfumes)

Carven Homme should cost as much as an Hermes and gets the Oscar for best Picture.
Rocas Lui is also pretty damn good. I feel the same way about Lalique's incensey Equus and the over the top Lion.
Should I also mention Boucheron's sublime Jaipur?
Yes, Santa Claus, there is a Virginia.
All, closer to niche, than not.

LaCroix's Tumulte for its Cedar + Incense goodness... and Body Kouros for its Benzoin overdose... "almost" niche in my opinion.
