review post problem!

I always got this problem when i try to post review for some fragrance.

Usually, after post a review, the review field will be locked and I can see the review content.
but when I post a review for Annick goutal' petite cheire, the page reloaded as usual but the review field was blank! I've tried several times, all the same. I post a review for Lolita Lempicka at same time, no such problem.

Is this fragrance can't be reviewed?

I am having similar problems. For the past couple of weeks, the reviews I have written have not been "locked" so I don' t know if they've been saved by Basenotes and are now in the queue for review or not. I have also tried re-posting the reviews and that does not make a difference as after posting, I am still "invited to review" that fragrance.

I would love to get more clarity on this issue too!

there is new problem!

sometime, after posting review, the review field is locked. but when I check back several days later, my review's gone, and I am "invited to review" that fragrance.

It has happened for lots of times for the past months, all my attemp to post a review are either disappeared right after posting, or vanished some days later as this.

It really, really makes me crazy!.

can anyone tell me how to prevent this????

I just don't have reviews show up at all so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Some have been after a week.

I have 224 reviews and I am being "invited" to review half of them again!

If I go to The Reviews section and my name, I can see all of them.
If I go to a frag I've reviewed that does NOT have this problem and go to my reviews I can also see them

But, like the other posters on this thread, I can't see them where they really count!

Hey, it's not easy trying to save Western culture.

HELP

I am a newbie but have also experienced the same problem. Maybe they just have too many reviews to sort through?

I've experienced this problem too but have, thankfully, discovered that all my new reviews eventually appear in the directory at some point in time. So, I wouldn't fret about losing your reviews (and I'm sure they're stored somewhere on the system should this happen).

Mario Justiniani - I haven't experienced the problem that you're having but it may be a recent one.

Another problem with the review section is the review counter - the review section states that I've submitted over 400 reviews when it's actually closer to 300 (which is confirmed when you click on my username, for a list of all my reviews). Once again, the editing function seems to be the root of the problem.

Thanks, Trebor ! I missed that post

Hope Grant will soon fix it :P

Well, I'm still being "invited" to review Bulgari Black and many others, though I've reviewed them already.

What's weird is they appear under the " Review " section under my name---they just don't appear anywhere else!

Should you go to the specific frag, my review isn't there----Should I go to it, it's not there either. Just the invitation to review it again.

It's confusing, No luck no mater how I reach the frag's review site, whether via my wardrobe, the Review section, the company name ofr the frag's name

But it exists in the limbo of cyberspace, in the Review section---it's just absent in the place it should be, the frag's review site.

(Cue in Twilight Zone music, please)

Grant, unless I've been once again smoking stuff I cannot spell, I believe I pm'd you a couple of weeks ago about this
Any idea what might be going on?

THX,

Mario
