MONT BLANC INDIVIDUEL... A cheap alternative to SMW?

I´ve been told that... Is that true? Is INDIVIDUAL similar to SMW?

Thanks in advance.-

Not to me.

I hated Individuel (it was a gift from someone at my work) and immediately gave my bottle away to my young nephew. Silver Mountain Water (when I owned it) I loved.

I find them NOTHING alike.

i dunno, but i've seen it selling piss cheap over here! like $15 or summat...

I don't think they're alike either.

I'll take a bottle of Himalaya over both.

However, I've noticed that Individuel gets a bit of a bad rap on the reviews, with many commenting that it's a Joop! rip-off.

I don't think they're THAT similar--but if they are, then let's hear it for one the most improved rip-offs in perfumery!

Joop! is cloying synthetic crap.

( Does that sound somewhat negative? )

MB Individuel is what a well paid GQ looking 20 something would use for officewear.

SMW is a refined, intriguing acqua scent anyone with good taste can enjoy but it's Creed and therefore, evil

Say, did I mention that I like Himalaya better?

Cheers,

Mario

Individuel and SMW are nothing alike.

Individuel and Original Santal are similar.

Pierre Bourdon did Individuel... just thought I'd throw that out there.

To me it smells closer to Joop than it does to SMW.

I agree with this comparison.

First of all, let me say MB Individuel is a reinterpretation of Joop! Homme.
To my nose, the contrast between the Joop base and "Minty-Black Currant" in MBI's top notes has some similarities to SMW. But obviousely I dont recommend buying MBI blindly. Be careful because MBI is a very sweet scent with monsterous sillage!
