Summer Scent

Hi,

I'm sure this thread was posted before...

This morning I found out that my bottle of Burberry London finished. I'm quite sad since I quite like the fragrance - and yet it being a wintery fragrance, and the fact that i used it for the past year or so roughly 3/4 times a week, I was thinking it's time for a change. Every cloud has a silver lining - although Burberry London shall be missed.

I'm basically looking for something summery, fresh, and non-niche since there are no niche fragrances here. I was thinking of AdP - but getting to the shop is quite a trek. Are there any suggestions for something long-lasting, fresh and summery?

A decant of Bvlgari Eau Parfumee The Rouge is soon arriving; and I quite like tea fragrances; so I'll give that a try.

Apart fromt that I'm trying to look for something which will remind me either of beautiful Sorrento, Amalfi and Capri (the place has a VERY special meaning to me), or maybe the wonderful Olive groves of Puglia, or the green Calabrian hills...

I suggest you Burberry London Summer. That is very very fresh

If your shop has it, I highly recommend AdP Fico di Amalfi. I'm very close to settling on it as my own summer scent. The fig aspect is juicy and fruity, not green and leafy, and it has aspects of coconut, as well as a tiny bit of jasmine/tea thing that reminds me of L'Artisan The pour un Ete.

Going out on the limb:

Maitre Parfumeur et Gantier - Racine
Nautica - Voyage

I wore voyage yesterday, lasted for quite some time. It is a little "young" but I think the opening is very nice....just a bit synthetic.
