Mixing and matching

Have any of you found combinations of fragrances that work well together?

FYP, I recently tried Mugler Cologne with original Polo. Both have piney top notes, while MC dries down soapy, and Polo dries down "oily." It actually worked pretty well together, but I have to admit it was dang piney for the first few minutes.

The other day while shopping, I layered (accidentally) Le Male with Kenzo Amour, and it was quite nice! Not something I'd buy, though.

Then Friday, I intentionally layered Tabu with Rose 31. Hrm. Not something I'd do again.

Le Male + Dolce & Gabanna pour Homme actually layered quite nicely. Other than that, all my other attempted layers have been pretty nasty.

Cool. I can see, err smell, how those might work together.

By the way, I wore a Mugler Cologne/Polo combo to work today for grins instead of my normal GIT, and I really quite like this combination! I will definitely wear it again.
