New FM fragrance by Maurice Roucel!

Dans tes Bras (In Your Arms)

"It continues the sensual theme of Musc Ravageur, though it's meant to be a little more subtle.....some 16 hours later is still radiating with the fragrance. It's lovely, though heliotrope haters would probably object to the powderiness. It feels like a classic French scent and I'm not entirely sure how steamy it is, but I like it nonetheless."

notes : bergamot, cloves, violet, jasmine, sandalwood, patchouli, frankincense, cashmeran, heliotrope, white musk.

available this October!

Gaia over at "The Non-Blonde" gives the scoop


Sounds "ok" but will hold my judgment until I sniff it. :wave:

Its no surprise that this fragrance lasts for 16hr. Almost all (i havent tried all) FM frags last for ages.

Also be on the lookout for the new fragrance that he's developing for Bond#9, slated for a late 2008 to 2009 release. Should be an interesting one as well.

by far, the most recognizable face in the world of perfume creationists.

and he is an amazing perfumeur.

Sadly, I don't share that experience. With the exception of Une Rose and Musc Ravageur all FM scents last about 15 minutes on me...

I've yet to find an FM that I really like AND has good longevity... Maybe this'll be it!

The Scented Salamander reported a little more info on the scent today:

'...Both men worked on sculpting and snapping into place the "Rubik's Cube" of the scent of bare skin, "We hoped to capture the deep and lasting odor of warm skin, with all its salty hints and rich, intimate complex overtones." Malle is so pleased and personally touched with the result that he decided to have a well-known radiologist take a MRI of Maurice Roucel's brain in an attempt to try to understand the inner workings of Roucel, the magician...'

Very interesting, as I really love skin scents!

It looks like they changed the label on the bottle?! I think I like the new one better...

Also, great to see the price won't be in the 'carnal flower range'..

He is the creator of Envy, I had forgotten he was the creator of Envy! no wonder it is so similar to MR.
