Habit Rouge and Heritage by Guerlain

While sorting through the Aqua di Parma line at a dept store, looking for Profumo, I happened across a couple of lone Guerlain bottles: Heritage and Habit Rouge.

Both are absolutely exquisite, HR being a citrusy, soft, powdery scent perfect for Summer and Heritage being an ambery, sweeter scent for Fall/Winter or evening. I asked for samples and am going to wear the HR for the next week and see how it goes; so far, I'm loving it. It's funny - I've seen the bottle so frequently, but never thought to spray it on.

What are your thoughts about these scents?

Fabulous fragrances. Both have excellent sillage and longevity IMO.

...and sillage and longevity are not easy to find in frags marketed to men, as I've recently discovered.

I'm so happy to have tried these - they are gems. In my opinion, far nicer than most of the classic Guerlain scents marketed to women.

You need to try Montale's Black Aoud, Tom Ford's Tuscan Leather, or Lorenzo Villoresi's Piper Nigrum

Colognes attract me because I like citrus. But I'm venturing out of that genre and, admittedly, beautiful scents abound.
