Having some fun with Jo Malone

I've avoided Jo Malone scents for the longest time because most of her scents all by itself are generally single-dimensioned.

Her new Dark Amber & Ginger Lily scent piqued my curiosity, and as usual, it smells nice but it was flat and had no dimension...Accords for sale, basicallly.

The SA encouraged me to try some combinations, so I lifted the different scents to pair with the Dark Amber and when I paired it Pomegranate Noir it was damned magic!

It became a lush, dark and spicy amber with cedar and incense to spare!

I'm ready to delve into another scent combination, probably something like Black Vetyver Cafe and Blue Agave & Cacao.

Can anyone suggest your favorite combos?

The Jo Malone site lists a bunch of recommended combinations:

I thought Pomegranate Noir mixed with Lime, Basil & Mandarin was nice.

Doesn't look like a lot of fun, but hey some of her juices are good ..

Thanks, petruccijc, for the link.

Those combos seem way out there looking at it, but I'm sure they smell remarkable.

It might not be fun for some to go through a series of hits and misses to get the right combo, but for me, I'm definitely in my creative element doing this kind of stuff.

After sniffing a couple hundred of scents created by others in my lifetime there must've been something I noticed and learned along the way in order to create something I'd definitely like.

I'm just concerned that I've found another way to make my hobby even more costly.
