Out of what I've smelled it is YSL Pour Homme by far.
except for L'Homme Eau d'Eté & Kouros Fraicheur, i voted for the rest.
I voted for:

Rive Gauche pour Homme
Opium pour Homme (I prefer the EDP over the EDT)
YSL pour Homme
Kouros
M7

YSL is by far my favorite "designer" house. I own everything on your list except L'Homme Eau d'Eté & Kouros Fraicheur. I also have Rive Gauche pour Homme Intense and Opium.

I chosed Body Kouros, Kouros and Opium, alltough my newly found favourite of them all wasn't on the list. Kouros Tattoo Edition, which infact isn't the same in a new bottle but a new take on the classic instead.

Why 3 - 5?
I could only pick 1 from your list: Kouros.
I love Opium - the women's version and Y, the unisex chypre form the early 60's. The other YSL men's fragrances leave me a bit cold.
I don't own L'Homme, L'Homme Eau d'Eté, M7 Fresh, or Opium Pour Homme Eau d'Orient.

My favorites of the remaining fragrances are M7 and Kouros. My least favorite is Body Kouros because it seems to be a rather linear vanilla fragrance on my skin. Makes me smell like a snickerdoodle. Still, I respect that it "works" for lots of other people. I will give it another try this winter.

YSL is my favorite designer fragrance house at this time.

Body Kouros and Rive Gauche hands down.

3rd is Live Jazz for me, but really behind the 2 above.
M7 is by far my favorite. I should just buy myself a bottle, I love it so much.
Of those I've tried (Rive Gauche, Kouros, Body Kouros, Homme, Jazz, M7), M7 is the clear winner - I adore the stuff! Looking forward to the autumn when I can break it out again.
I usually do not like to be in the majority, for some reason, but YSL is my favorite designer house, as well. I really cannot say for any of YSLs scent that is bad. There are not many designer houses without any failure, I believe. I voted for Kouros, Opium pour Homme and, my beloved, M7.

YSL PH Haute Concentrate
Jazz
Body Kouros
I feel the same way about YSL as I do about Chanel. While there aren't any that I dislike, there also aren't any that I love enough to buy a bottle of...
just one...Rive Gauche (regular and intense)
I decided to make it tough for me--I'd only vote for three. That way I'd be excluding ones I think are great but that aren't at the top of great.

I picked Kouros, Pour Homme, and Opium PH. Almost voted for M7 and Kouros Fraicheur too, but one look at the tally and I can see M7 didn't need any help.

The best
Opium EDT
YSL pour homme
Jazz

Worst
L'homme
Rive Gauche
I find YSL to be the one house from whom I'd like to obtain most, if not all I voted for Opium Pour Homme (both the EdP and EdT) as my first choice, followed by Rive Gauche and M7 a close second and third.
What if I've only smelled three and don't like two?
The poll left out Kouros Sport, Kouros Tattoo, and Kouros Summer.
I chose 2; Kouros and Rive Gauche.

I can't believe M7 has so many votes, I thought it was a woman's fragrance.
YSL pour Homme, definitely.
I also appreciate Kouros on the right person.

I have a $50 credit at a perfume shop and was thinking of buying one of the above YSL fragrances. Can anyone tell me which one I might be most interested in?

P.S. I already have Kouros and hate Body Kouros.

Have you tried Kouros Tattoo? I love it. On myself it's the most wearable incarnation of Kouros--even more than the Sport and Fraicheur versions-- Funny, because to me it smells the closest to the original. It has the Kouros signature, but it's really fresh and crisp and it doesn't bludgeon one with civet. Fantastic stuff.

I also really love Opium Pour Homme Eau D'Orient. (2006) Very spicy and dry with a candied grapefruit note.

I would suggest trying Rive Gauche pour Homme, if you haven't already done so.

Can I vote for M7 three times?

Yes! Yess!! Yessssss!!!!

To my shame, I'm fond of L'Homme. M7 Fresh is my favourite as well.

Ditto. Kouros for pure balls, and Rive Gauche because I can wear it easily. But my vote is biased because there are many on the list I haven't tried, notably M7, Kouros Tatoo, and YSL Homme. Time to give them a try, because like others, I haven't yet found a YSL I didn't like.
I voted for:
Rive Gauche
Opium Eau d'Orient

and

M7 Fresh

I love the M7 Fresh's woody dry down. Would I most likely enjoy M7?

I have to ask...
I don't mean to offend anyone but for the Kouros lovers, (oh and if I asked this before I apologize. I am getting old and forgetful) do you not smell like a dirty truck stop bathroom when you wear this? For me it goes on nice but within 15 minutes, I smell like urine. I don't like that. I realize some might but then it may be just that it smells totally different to you all.

It took me a long time to like Kouros, but now I really do. It smells like incense to me or maybe even dirty dried oranges. The first 10 minutes can be brutal like a restroom disinfectant, but then it smells really clean and sporty. After several hours it morphs into baby powder on me. One shot to the back of the neck for office wear or 2-3 squirts to your chest and shirt for clubbing. This stuff has definitely been reformulated since the 80's so you can imagine how strong it used to be. Great stuff and the women absolutely love it. And this is coming from a guy who normally wears only Creed. Kouros is the best fragrance ever (outside of most Creeds, of course).

M7 is my hands down favorite from this line......I also like Rive Gauche and L'Homme along with Body Kouros.

Mike - don't take this wrong, but the YSL scent that takes the most heat here (L'Homme, which I admit to liking) really strikes me as being something like the lighter Creed Millesimes, only a bit sweeter. Perhaps not as complex, but I think that the "sport fragrance" volume of L'Homme comes in close to the restraint of the less-powerful Creeds. The longevity is there, too - sometimes over 48 hours. Ladies like it, as well, although I don't know anybody who's ever gotten bitten over it. Rive Gauche walks off with the gold in that category.

Kouros
Opium
M7
PH HC
Rive Gauche

I'm a bit biased since I own all of them soo...
I couldn't pick 3-5 because quite simply there aren't 3-5 that I like. I have come to the conclusion that I don't rate YSL as a fragrance house at all.

I voted for Opium pour Homme EDT. It's the only one that I like.
Same, I only like Rive Gauche.
Kouros, Opium (EDP) and Rive Gauche for me
post #37 of 38
For me Opium pour Homme stands well above the rest. YSL pour Homme and Rive Gauche are the next in line.
I can't wait till I get home and spray M7 Fresh all over the bf before eating him up.
