Latest Bargains - what were yours?

Thread Starter
I've recently bought some great bargains:

A 100ml bottle of Richard James for 20. This stuff is gorgeous, and I almost paid full price (65) for it a month earlier, then found it at TK Maxx at this steal of a price.

Two 50ml bottles of Tumulte PH for 12 each, also from TK Maxx. Tumulte stands proud in my (large) collection of incense fragrances. At the price, I bought these as back-ups. I almost bought the female Tumulte EdP too, but thought it too similar to another recent bargain:

100ml bottle of Givenchy Insense for 20 from a chemists in a local mall. I know this is a men's floral, but I smell incense in it and it reminds of me CdG EdP. I believe that this may already be discontinued again - this was the only bottle I've ever seen. (This chemist also had what might be the last bottle of Egoiste in this city on its shelves. I may go back for that too.)

My last find at TK Maxx was a 100ml bottle of Live Jazz for 20. It's nice and refreshing, but not as interesting as my last purchase:

A 50ml bottle of Eau Sauvage Fraîcheur Cuir. This cost full price of 45, but as it's so hard to find I sprang for it anyhow. I like this much more than the standard Eau Sauvage and the Live Jazz.

I guess that's my scent shopping done for a while - at least until I can find some of the bottles recommended by many of you on my thread about incense fragrances.

So what have your latest bargains been?

I bought a 3.4 oz Black Sun/Salvador Dali online for $32.00, including shipping. I was pretty jazzed about that. It will arrive tomorrow. :bounce:

A Bvlgari Aqva tester for $18.99. Great deal. Of course, now I find out that the stuff is poisonous.

I don't care. I'll smell great when they autopsy me.
Tumulte After Shave. I have EDPs that do not last nearly as long. It is the best Incense done by a mainstream brand and it is not intimidated by big niche houses.

ADP Assoluta from a charity shop £5
I'm more curious to know what it's "T.K. Maxx" in the UK vs "T.J. Maxx" here in the U.S.

EDIT -- If only I had waited another minute before I posted that! Wikipedia tells me that it was to avoid confusion with "T. J. Hughes."
How about this then...

I went round to the charity shop near where I live. Not only did I pick up a fantastic Ted Baker shirt for a fiver, I also got a brand new in box 50ml L'Eau Hadrien by Annick Goutal for £1.99!

Honestly?Crucify me if you want but I'm enamored with scents that are very popular, that I haven't personally used but that get panned here. One that I thought smelled nice and high school was Hugo. I did ebay research and made a last minute offer from a respected ebayer that was 5.1 ounces of Hugo and I got it at $33.00 with shipping. It was legit. I actually got it for $29 and paid $4 for shipping if you want the specifics. I may hate the stuff after a few days but the bottle size was worth the try for the price.
A single tester bottle containing three different Ted Baker scents(3 x 15 ml):
-Skinwear,
-M,
-Endurance,
off course all unsampled and with scarce reviews.
For 3 GBP... (ok,plus shipping,add another 3 GBP).

man that Vienna trip would have been heaven for me! you shoulda bought some! i'm amazed they had it at the airport...considering it has been discontinued for at least a couple years already. Helmut Lang (the man...) is Austrian, so it might have something to do with it....

Yes, but strangely the Lang wasnt at any of the tax free stores... it was amongst a small selection of colognes (eg: Nikos Sculpture, Jil Sander, Joop! Davidoff Echo) up for grabs (all for 19) at an airport kiosk (!). I stopped past to grab a new deodorant (as my deo spray had been confiscated by customs for being in a 125ml canister - boooo!), and was surprised to see it on the shelf.

I agree everso... get ye to Vienna STAT! You'd run amok!

$10AUD for a 50ml tester of D&G By Man (that's about $7.50USD). \\
Couldn't believe my luck, because this stuff is as rare as hen's teeth these days and going for a small fortune on ebay.
A local discount perfume outlet is slowly closing down and I'm on good terms with the owner. The final closing down sale is coming up soon and I've got my eye on some bottles of Polo Green that are sitting in the corner...

Screw you. Seriously....

I picked up a 50ml Habit Rouge for $15, shipped
7.5ml Parfum de Merveilles $50 (retail is $125)

Lately I've missed a lot of deals - forgetting to bid on eBay and the like. For example:

Chanel 22 EdT (pre-Exclusif) - 50ml went for $46 on eBay a couple days ago.
Guerlain Parure 30ml - $44 on eBay three days ago

I always forget to snipe the bid....

Heck I always forget to look at eBay, much less snipe.
Two best deals I've gotten recently was a boxed gift set of Annick Goutal Eau D'Hadrien, Nuit D'Hadrien and Mandragore for $25 at my local Filene's Basement.
I also got a 4.2oz. bottle of Montana Parfum D'Homme (Red box) for $22 from parfum1 after the 20% discount.
Time to go look at eBay.

I will give a coin of 2 Euros and then I expect a 50 ml bottle of Hugo Boss Sport, plus 0.5 Euros of change. All right,I have to add 7 Euros for shipping .
Truth to be told, the bottle I won looks slightly different compared to those I already own (which ,by the way,are not entirely similar-what a mess!).

1 oz. Nuit de Noel, parfum extrait in the glorious black Art Deco flacon - $90.
I just bought Nicole Miller for Men at Burlington Coat Factory. 2.5 OZ for $24.99.

I sprayed it on the back of my hand and it's really nice. Stronger than I figured. I had it years ago...this new version seems to have removed a "sharp" note that used to irritate me.

My wife's gonna love this.

Van Cleef & Arpels Pour Homme 100ml EDT - 18 delivered

Ok not the classic old formulation but the new, less regarded one (although I believe it is now reformulated to something approaching its former glory). Still, for 18??
From the back shelf of TJ's, 3.4 ounces of Polo Green, no box, $5.99. Oh, the spray nozzle is kind of missing but I'm betting I have one around here somewhere to fit.
