Hey guys I am new here and I was wondering what fragrances you guys would suggest I try. My favorites include Versace the Dreamer, Hypnose Homme, Pi, Gucci Envy, and Obsession. What fragrances should I test next?

If you like Hypnose Homme then I'd suggest looking at fragrances that have a amber note. Some you might like:

Montale's Blue Amber
Serge Lutens Ambre Sultan
Parfumerie Generale's L'Ombre Fauve
Tauer's L'air du desert Marocain
Frapin's Caravelle Epicee

Considering what you like...

Dolce & Gabanna ph
Frederic Malle Musc Ravageur
Caron The 3rd Man
Guerlain L'Instant (The EDP extreme version)
Azzaro Visit
Iceberg Twice
Rochas Man
Lolita Lempicka Au Masculine

If you like Dreamer, then you may like Givenchy's Pi because it is a very warm vanilla sort-of oriental scent on the drydown. Although Pi is very very sweet. Deck I agree on him/her trying Lolita Lempicka.

I already have Pi I like that scent also. What are some other non-fresh/aquatic/blue scents that I might like?

See if someone on the site has a small sample of Creed Erolfa for you to try. It is more on the Oceanic side. Sort of salty, Iodine like. Bulgari has an aquatic but the name escapes me now.

Dreamer is a sweet tobacco. There are lots of tobacco scents out there to try.

Enjoy the madness

Rick.

I second Rochas man. It's quite a nice fragrance.

Prada for men or Richard James Saville Row are better versions of Envy, IMO of course. Then there's Carven Homme for spicy rosewood with a smooth base. Instead of Pi, I prefer Ignition by Lomani and Escada Collection, which is technically a woman's fragrance.

Given that you seem to enjoy spicy oriental scents, you might want to try Jaipur Homme (the "Pi" act played with more sophistication, and far better in the EdP version), JHL, Heritage, and Habit Rouge. If you have interest in (and access to) niche fragrances, look for Serge Lutens's Ambre Sultan, Arabie, and Rousse, Maitre Parfumeur et Gantier's Ambre Precieux, L'Artisan Parfumeur's Mechant Loup, Villoresi's Piper Nigrum, Frederic Malle's Musc Ravageur, Delrae's Bois de Paradis, and especially Diptyque's Eau Lente.

If you'd like to explore new but related territory, I'd suggest L'Anarchiste, Pomegranate Noir, Tuscany, Santal Noble, Avignon, Basala, New York, The 3rd Man, Eau d'Hermes, or Geir.

That ought to keep you busy for quite a while!

considering you fancy obsession and envy, you'll find yourself enjoying Gentleman and Eau Sauvage respectively.
