Of these two, which is the better Coffee scent? Please vote if you have tried both, and post why you chose the one you did, I'd love to hear your opinions.

We're going to leave New Haarlem out of the equation because of the cost, and also Ava Luxe and Jo Malone even though they have fine coffee scents as well. We're just going to compare these two mainstream coffee gourmands

It really depends on what you're looking for... To me, Rochas Man is the better, more refined scent. However the coffee aspect of the scent is relatively short lived, and you end up with more of a chocolate & vanilla scent. A*Men Pure Coffee is pretty much that, just coffee. I tried it a while back and found it unpleasant. I voted for the Rochas because I have owned it in the past, and would own it again, but if the criteria is coffee, then A*Men might be a better choice...

IMHO...
Better fragrance overall = Rochas Man
Better coffee = A*Men Pure Coffee

I own both, and it's really comparing apples with oranges. As someone else noted, Rochas Man is more of an everyday fragrance that happens to have coffee notes (along with lavender).... to my nose the accord smells as much like cookie dough as anything.

Pure Coffee is really a pure gourmand and gives you the unmistakable scent of coffee, chocolate, and vanilla.

If I had to pick one to own I'd go with Pure Coffee, but they don't replace each other.

I think they both have too much lavender for me, but I really dislike RM so I'd vote for PC. However, what I reach for are frags like Jacomo Silver for men and Polo Double Black.

I prefer Pure Coffee cause it smells better. Rochas Man used to smell good about 10years ago.

Do you guys think that I will like Rochas Man? I like sweet scents like Pi (especially drydown), Le Male, Body Kouros opening of A*Men (dont like that much drydown tho).. but I hate Givenchy Play Intense that was like too synthetic A*Men Lite to me... How are ingredients on Rochas ? Do they smell natural or synthetic?
