Paris is the one I prefer followed by Y, Rive Gauche and Opium.
The balance of this perfume is perfect, very feminine and I should even say "flirty".
The only problem is that many people associate it with the 80s.

Night: always the one who helps start off the threads, though a bit busy these days

I think YSL perfumes are underrated on Basenotes.

I chose Opium, Paris, and Rive Gauche. Love Opium parfum, then Secret de parfum, but don't care for the EDT. Second choice is Paris, have only tired the EDT, but I also like several of the LEs.

Easy! Rive Gauche and Y.

I voted for Opium, Paris and Y. I can't remember ever having met a YSL fragrance I didn't like.

I voted for Opium and Y because I wear them both and for Paris because it just smells great.

In that case, I've got a bottle of Vice Versa with your name on it!

I am the sole vote for Elle. Why?

I loved Opium in the 1980s, but it won't work for me at all now; too dry. Y I think is grand, but a melon note just rots on my skin.

Elle: Of no interest initially, but for whatever reason, one day it appealed.

I can't forgive Tom Ford for discontinuing OPIUM Secret de parfum & reformulating Rive Gauche ...I miss them alot.
I think the creations that were under Mr. Yves Saint Laurent direction were the best starting from Y,Rive Gauche, Opium, Paris, Champagne, In Love Again , Vice Versa & even Baby Doll was crafted in a classy way.

That's one I've never sampled. I take it it's not to your taste. Also, I never tried Young, Sexy, Lovely (something like that). I generally find that even if I don't love a particular YSL fragrance, even if it's not for me, it's still nicely composed. I think they must have fairly high standards.

I like Elle very much! I just can't help being attached to favorite YSL's of the past.

My favorite is the discontinued Vice Versa. Also like Opium, Y and Paris Rose de Bois.

I like them all, but choosing the top 3 was easy:

Rive Gauche
Opium
Paris
