This is supposed to be out in the UK @ Harrods and the world at large (except US/Middle East in 2009).

Has anyone tried it yet?

Lalique White ~ new fragrance
Posted by Robin on 18 June 2008
Lalique will launch Lalique White, a new fresh citrus fragrance for men, this month.

Lalique White includes notes of lemon leaves, tamarind, bergamot, violet, white pepper, nutmeg, cardamom, amber, cedar and musk. It was developed by perfumer Christine Nagel, who noted that the spices "...contribute to the freshness of the scent.

Lalique White will be available in 75 and 125 ml Eau de Toilette and in a limited edition crystal flask, as well as in matching grooming products. It will be at Harrods in the UK next week, then will go into wider distribution in the fall. It will not launch in the US until next year.

I'm asking again since friends are returning from the UK and asked what they could pick up for me. Has anyone tried the Lalique White?

Thank you

OK boys! It's almost a month now and surely our European basenoters have seen or sampled this new offering from Lalique?!

I tried it on paper at the Lalique boutique in Houston, TX.... all I can remember is that it's peppery. I believe it's now available in the US at the boutiques only.

Zephyr,
THANK YOU!

I tried it at Aedes in NY and was not impressed. I do like Lalique as a fragrance house, especially Lion and Equus, but this one smells very ordinary. Lemony. light, indistinct. Pass.

Just saw on the OsMoz website that it will also be available as an extrait for men. THIS IS NEWS! Last time I heard of a parfum/extrait for men was Caron Impact Pour Un Homme.

Boozy, peppery, spicy -- sounds definitely something for me to try out!

I might be in the minority, but I wasn't too impressed by Encre Noir. The vetiver never melded with the incense-like notes and smelled too bitter for my taste.
