Starting this Monday in my beloved bright and happy Villoresi DILMUN

Enjoy your week!
Good morning! Great choice, G, Dilmun is wonderful.

I am wearing your Incense Rosé and it is still remarkable that this one is such a demure rose on me and the incense takes over almost immediately after the top note.

Since incense is one of my most loved notes, I am probably more perceptive of it

Have a good start of the week, all.

Hello everybody.Today I have the day off and the only appointment I have is the hairdresser Repeating last evening's success with Madame X today, chosen by Sakecat.I really love this spicy amberscent!
Hello all, I pick Lauren Style this morning, simply because I woke up late and didn't have much time to choose. Anyway it is one of my most loved scent.

Sunday - September 14, 2008
Afternoon: Boucheron Pour Homme
Evening: Burberry London
Late evening: Adidas Moves

For starters today I am layering Jo Malone Verbenas de Provence underneath Kohdo Woods Night, also JM Lime Basil Mandarin under Night on the other arm, in a bid to beat the basil note into submission. The lemon combo is pretty refreshing, and the LBM one is definitely better layered than not! Though of course Night is gorgeous on its own.

Wishing a good Monday to all and fighting the more-than-autumnal weather with hyacynths, namely Annick Goutal's

Grand Amour

Surprisingly for me, both a Goutal AND flower-laden. But there's a reason behind this...the drydown is superbly oriental

Hello, you lovely smelling ones!

Carthusia Ligea "La Sirena" for me today.

A good Monday to all.

Initial by Boucheron today. This never became a hit, did it? I like the cardamom in it, though...

Hope you are all having a nice start of the week! :bounce:
dipping into the spicy Coco today. I guess I am wishing for autumn to really be here.
MAN Y'all smell good! (Musse - thanx for reminding me about Initial. Tinks sent me it....Gonna set it out to wear this evening!)

But for this still-summer, but tentative, overcast day I need me a little

Just so fresh and lemon-y...
gonna take along a little de**** I made of Love's Fresh Lemon to sort of goose it along during this work day.

Compassionate vibes going out to Texas...glad our Wolfie is OK.

Sampling Ormonde Jayne Ta'if, that the company very graciously sent me free of cost. Wonderful costumer service and a wonderful scent to match, is my initial impression!
For this unusually humid and summer-like day I am going to wear:

Zizanie

Really interesting powdery musky on me. I'm not sure how I feel about this one, yet.

Have a great Monday everyone.

2x Dzing!
5x Voleur de Roses

It's a very nice combination
Going with an old favorite....

Dior Hypnotic Poison.

Sadly, not wearing as well as I remember. Getting a HUGE Iso E Super note.

Maybe it's the copious amounts of garlic I ate yesterday.
It's a gorgeously sunny day here, so I'm going for a liberal spritz of:

Malin + Goetz's Lime Tonic EdT

Clinging onto the vestiges of summer in desperation ...

Acqua di Parma Arancia ~

Weather has turned here, yesterday was hot and humid, today, it's cool.

Warming up to Bal a Versailles, parfum. I like this new formulation better than the vintage. Thanks for the generous decant Spicegirl!

Too me it smelled like an overly chemical Fanta drink. Could be it was off in the store though because it was on display in the sun :/
post #33 of 64
Alien for me. I didn't think I would like this one as much as I do.
But it smells absolutely great on me : )
newday, I love the kitty cat fave in your avatar!

SOTD is BPAL's Harvest Moon '05, apples & spices, quite lovely

Thanks for all your kind words and prayers sent our way, there is no devastation at all, Ike did his thing, however, in SE Texas Houston -- Galveston region. These reports on TV are just awful: no power, no drinking water, no gasoline, no stores opened. And the Mayor of Galveston saying "Please do not come back until we say you can" is terrible too. What is going to happen with the animals in their pyramids (Moodie Gardens)? My prayers are with LadyLoneStar and her family these days. Who else do we have down there? Beachroses (I saw her signed off on MUA a few weeks ago)?

We are dry, breezy and cool at 62 degrees F. L'Artisan Timbuktu for me.
Glad to hear your area is ok, Twolf. Definitely thinking about those in the Galveston region.

SotD: House twins with Twolf in L'Artisan Mûre et Musc Extrême.

It's funny; I never cared for it until now. I wonder if Coco will have a resurgence of usage with the Coco program on Lifetime. It's a beautiful fragrance.

Oh I know--OJ is an amazing company. I ordered Ormonde Woman in the EDP about a month ago, and when it came to me I was floored with the packaging and service. I felt like it was a holiday.

SOTD, once again, undecided. Still smelling the Black Aoud I put on last night. Yes, it's kind of gross, I haven't gotten up and going yet this morning. My regular schedule collapsed, which means I have more time to play here: the server shutdown yesterday made me need my BN fix more than expected.

Have a great day everyone!
Twolf, I'm glad to hear the Dallas area weathered Ike, and my thoughts are also with Galveston and its occupants. Although it's good they got notice to leave, it's still very hard to to have to evacuate indefinitely (I had to do it for the fires down here several years ago).

Lushsoup, a late start isn't gross, it's luxurious! (Spoken like the true sloth that I am. )

SotD: teaching and traveling, so something relatively light. Looks like yet another day in Jo Malone Sweet Lime and Cedar (I really dig this stuff).

I'll be on the road a lot this week for work but will try to get my daily BN fix if possible.

I'm in Madame Rochas today. Just starting the house-moving process, so making trips back and forth to the new house with bags and boxes of small things like lamps and rugs and cushions and stuff. DH has hired the van and enlisted a burly chum to help with the big stuff on the weekend. Rah!

Big love to all of you.

Parfums Delrae Amoureuse, which has turned out to be one of those fragrances I've been searching for my whole life. It's up there with Bois des Iles for me...I mean that.

I'm floored by the lasting power of this fragrance. One drop, (after one dip in the liquid with that plastic stick-thingy in the sample bottle, I touch beneath each ear), is all it takes to have an absolutely beautiful scent for the entire day!

Thank you, thank you BlackCat for introducing me to this outstanding fragrance!

Feminite du Bois for me today.

My pleasure! It's only a partial returning the favor of all the beautiful frags you've introduced me to (especially Chanel No. 22).

It'll be interesting to smell how it develops on you--I'll bet the honey note is even better on you than me!

Narciso Rodriguez for Her edt on me and gentle traces of Coco on my coat cuffs.

Any news from Quarry and Chicago Sniffa from this past weekend? Is there an official site that gives an account of events?

Curious minds want to know....

I'm home from work today and still dealing with a stinky basement ... so I brought out the big guns: Paco Rabanne La Nuit! Nothing like some skanky leather to show the basement who's boss!

I'm a scent sister with veuve amiot today. My TA'IF sample is getting dangerously low. I am contemplating a bottle purchase as a birthday present for myself (this will be in October -- we are almost there!!!). I love CHAMPACA and WOMAN, too, but I think TA'IF will win the largest piece of my heart!
