If you don't mind trying female fragrances, I'd say try Givenchy Organza Indecence - sort of a custardy vanilla with cinnamon and woods in the base. Caron Parfum Sacre is spicy, incensy, and a creaminess which is a tad sweet. I think they could both work on a man. You could also try layering - LV Spezie or DK Chaos with a vanilla lotion or fragrance like Molinard Vanille (which is a great layering vanilla). Sweet and spicy is my favorite combo in scents, so I'd be curious what others people post, men's or women's.

Parfums de Nicolai Vanille-Tonka. Sweet with the vanilla/tonka, spicy with primarily clove but a touch of (nutmeg/cinnamon?).

I agree with Egoiste and Musc Ravageur. You might want to also try Jaipur Homme.

Hi,
I see you are in the U.K,me too.I have experimented with a lot of spicy and sweet fragrances without a lot of expense.
The ones I like which are sweet are,Zizanie which has a powder like sweetness,Royal Secret for Men which is unique and very sweetand Cristobal for men by Balenciaga which has a vanilla dry down but doesnt seem to last long on me.
As for spicy I love Yatagan by Caron which again is unique and will grow on you,Also spicy is Winter Delice from Guerlain which smells of Christmas Spice but it is discontinued { try e bay }.My last favorite spice is Orange Spice from Creed which is quite expensive but worth it.
Hope you find something to suit you.

Something I tried recently that was very spicy and a little sweet was Davidoff Adventure.

But everyone else here made some good descriptions for a well-balanced sweet and spicy fragrance especially Egoiste.

The ultimate sweet and spicy has to be Opium pour homme.

Musc Ravageur, Jaipur Homme EdP, Ambre Sultan, Ambre Precieux, Heritage, Shalimar, or Eau Lente ought to make you happy!

Agree on the Jaipur Homme. L'Anarchiste has a distinct cinnamon note but it's not overly sweet and no trace of vanilla. Antidote by Viktor and Rolf has a cinnamon/jasmine heart and a vanilla amber base. Sweet with a hint of spice. Very nice.

I've recently been loving Creed's Acier Aluminium, using up my samples quite quickly. It's a very nice, warm oriental that is sweet and spicey but not overwhelmingly so. It took me a few wearings to fully appreciate it but now it's one of my favorites, check it out if you can.

Histoire de Parfum's 1740 is sweet and spicy, with booze and leather thrown into the mix.

Pour_monsieur,

For sweet and spicy you can't go past Opium Pour Homme. It's the best of the best.

The EDT has a greater emphasis on the woods, and a touch of lavender, with a bourbon (ie. fruity and more natural) vanilla featuring strongly in the base.

The EDP is a creamier and very hot and spicy, much warmer in tone than the EDT, and the vanilla is ramped up a few notches.

Both are exquisite, I'm in the camp that thinks the EDP is the "masterpiece" of the two. The EDP, however, is more suited to those cold wintry days where it truly warms the soul, whereas the EDT is more suited to the warmer seasons.

I would recommend

Guerlain Habit Rouge
Guerlain l'Instant Pour Homme
Guerlain Heritage

Actually, the vanilla "Guerlinade" base of traditional Guerlains is a great way to get the sweet side of a fragrance during the drydown. That's why I like a lot of the classic Guerlains. You might also try Shalimar (seek out the extrait/parfum) or Derby (hard to find).

Etro 'Shaal Nur' Is loaded with oriental spices and wood with a fresh citrus that contrasts nicely. I never tire of this one.

John Varvatos Vintage is a fantastic fruity, slightly vanilla tinged, sweet and spicy fragrance. It dries down into a clove-cinnamon leather scent. Really great stuff, as complex as ANY niche scent i've ever tried....

I'll second both of the Ambres.

Agreed, it is very mildly sweet and spicy, and lasts a while as well. Very underrated, but classy fragrance.

I'd like to suggest Caron's Third Man, this is one of my favorites on my husband, and there is a beguiling sweetness to it.

And right now I am sampling Imperial Oppoponax, this is quite a sweet warm sensuous scent.

Serge Lutens Un Bois Vanille, Chypre Rouge, Arabie

Musc Ravageur

Noir Epices
