Apple Cinnamon Scent

Thread Starter
I have a air freshner from Glade that is Apple Cinnamon and every female that comes up to my office always says it smells so good in here. I was wondering is there a fragrance that might have that apple cinnamon vibe to it I search the directory and came up with a few but none of the reviews seem to hint at the scent I am searching for. This air freshener reminds me of Old Spice personally. Anyone know of a fragrance (other than old spice) with the scent I am talking about?

Hermés Ambre Narguile is a very literal take on apple/cinnamon... but rather different to Old Spice.

Read more about it here.

I think it was SirSlarty who said that L'Anarchiste smelled just like Mott's Cinnamon Applesauce. There is a lot of cinnamon.. I odn't think it smells just like cinnamon applesauce, but I can see how some would think so.

And I second Burberry London, Antidote, and Santana!

Damn you! I was coming in here to post L'Anarchiste!

Wow... yeah definitely would dive into anything smelling of apple pie.

mmm... pie.

I love Ambre Narguile by Hermes, however I don't think I get prominent apples and cinnamon from it. Cinnamon, yes for sure. But apples? Not on my skin.

You want apple pie - here's the scent for you: Brandy by Brandy Parfums Link here: http://www.brandyparfums.com/ I think you can get a sample from Aedes.

When I first tried Carven Homme, I thought of it as a combination of pumpkin and apple pie, with some rosewood.

Carlos Santana is a great suggestion, but some time before it was even out, I remember coming across a scent that reminded me SO much of apple pie, what with the spices and all. It was Must Pour Homme by Cartier. There were, at the time BNer's who had referred to MPH as reminding them of "buttercream frosting"....well, YMMV. I think it reminds me of apple pie!

Check it out!

(Shouldn't be too hard to find a place to try it!)

Boss Bottled / #6 is pure apple pie with cinnamon
(yes I know it's an old thread but for reference sake)

I couldn't agree more. Carlos Santana is apple/cinnamon and so much more. The only other frags in my wardrobe which get more female compliments are Oscar de la Renta pour Lui and Bowling Green by Geoffrey Beene. Carlos Santana for Men is the overall leader in both male and female compliments. It's a real winner, and I highly recommend it!

Hermés Ambre Narguile...

A friend of mine wears Carlos Santana and when he comes in the room it's like apples sprinkled with cinnamon.

+1!

I truly second Boss Bottled, in fact, it is, in my opinion, a combination of cinnamon-spiced apple pie smell with a suggestion of pineapple which overwhelms me as the first impression, whenever I get to smell this

I sprayed this on along w/ Dior's FH 32 yesterday in Sephora. I don't know if it was because I was sick and my skin was funky (I tested my sense of smell, it was unaffected by being ill), but Boss Bottled smelled like a bunch of random spices (think chinatown herb store) and I didn't get apple or cinnamon anywhere throughout the life of the frag. FH 32 smelled like... get this... coca cola!

It's very light and fresh, not what people think of at all with foody scents, but Tommy by Tommy Hilfiger has Apple and Cinnamon notes.

My 2 favorites for this are:

Caron L'Anarchiste (cinnamon motts)
Burberry London (topnote like spiced cider)

Tried Boss Bottled but don't distinctly remember Boss Bottled smelling like apple pie. And I haven't yet tried either Ambre Narguille or Carlos Santana yet.

Yeah, anything with notes of Lime/cinnamon or lime/clove can sometimes suggest coca-cola.

Fine Cologne by Carlos Santana....but for a better allround and mroe refined option, try Mont Blanc's Presence. It's not as focussed on these notes, but it is pretty nice.
