Do you pass the Onyx/Silver Black test ?

I wore Azzaro's Silver/Black yesterday, as part of the usual rotation, and there was something about it that was bothering me. I really liked this frag the last time I wore it, but yesterday was definitely problematic, and I tried to figure out why. I've seen it on many BNers swap or sales posts, which surprises me. Then it struck me that the problem is a "synthetic note," which I also detect in Corduroy now (but not when I first tried it, as a "newbie"). Foetidus pointed this out, and I didn't get it back then, but now I think I understand. LT has pointed out how great frags have a connection to natural smells, and these two have something that contradicts one's sense of the natural. It seems like a good test of whether a frag enthusiast has past the "newbie" stage. Any thoughts?

Perhaps. I like it and still wear it time to time.
