Caron Yatagan + Caron Pour un Homme = By Kilian A Taste of Heaven?

I received a sample of AToH yesterday and upon applying it I was immediately reminded of the lavendar in PuH and the wormwood in Yatagan. After a while, the frag dried down to a vanilla base, also present in PuH. So I layered the two tonight and a little unsurprisingly I found that the result was very close to By Kilians frag. Now I know my nose is not the most sophisticated of all, but I'm not spending my money on By Kilian just yet (and this is the only one of the line that I like, too!)

What do you think?

The only Kilian I have sampled is Straight To Heaven. I do own both Yatagan and Pour un Homme by Caron and can't wait to test this! I don't consider myself to have a very sophisticated nose, though, either.

Realize I just re-opened a very old thread.....am still going to layer and investigate!

~3.5 years later, Merlino gets a response, LOL.

Anyway, it might work but I'd guess the castoreum in Yatagan won't mix well with PUH...

Thanks for the advance warning! I am going to obtain a sample of A Taste of Heaven before I try layering the Carons.
