One of our local DJ's collects men's fragrances.

I turned on the radio while driving my car the other day, and the DJ was doing a contest. Callers had to phone in and answer this: Most women have about four of them, but only use twowhat are they? The answer wasnt lipsticks, it wasnt pairs of shoes. Finally someone guessed perfume. Right! He said most women have on average about four bottles but only use two of them. He said his wife fit into this category, but that he himself had a cologne fetish that he collected mens colognes, that he had them arranged on shelves, and that he rotated them daily (sounded a bit OCD about that actually, went on to describe the shelves and his daily rotation ritual). He also said that he did not own the all time best selling mens cologne and that was Old Spice. He didn't say where he got his data. I rather enjoyed listening to that while driving along. That was the first time I've ever heard a radio dj talk about his fragrance hobby.

My radio station has a "impossible question" every morning. They had the same kind of question but worded differently: "What does the average American buy four of every year?" the answer was perfume/cologne.

The numbers came from Avon's 2003 Global Women's Survey:
"The vast majority of women around the world (85%) wear fragrance and in
general, women dabble in several scents. On average, fragrance users own four
fragrances and wear two regularly."

i think the average for a BNer per month is 7.

for some reason, i think im wayyyy offffffff of the actual average fragrance bought per month!

hmm, now im actually curios if any of the djs or tv news crew here in LA have cologne fetishes. I WOULD SOO RECORD THEM!
