BdP : Part II (a month later)

I followed the advised given by many of you, I parked the bottle of BdP for a month, in fact I place it back in its box and I kept it out of my sight.

Today I felt like giving it a second try, I sprayed some in a test paper first and I was very pleased. Very unique, elegant and classy fragrance. I let it dry down for a few hours (4) and it is getting better. This is a the smell of success and luxurious life. I can picture a British Lord riding on his Rolls Royce while reading a hunting book, or a secretive millionaire having a arabic coffee in the top of his Presidential suit.

Since I am not a British Lord nor a secretive millionaire I think BdP will be used a very few occasions. No wonder this is one of Creed most popular creations. Lovely woody oriental.

On Monday I will wear it on me and see how it goes, but definitely today's perception of BdP is much better than the first time I tried it. In fact I feel a little embarrassed for my harsh and temperamental negative review I gave when I got the bottle. Good thing that I have listen to some of the venerable basenoters.

I believe what happened is that my expectations were too high and misled for all the readings. My first Creed was GIT which I loved from the first moment I thought BdP will be the same.

Nice to hear the old "tricks" are still working!

Great news! You know - it seems like BdP has been getting better for me with each wear, too. I look forward to another one in a week or so.

I'm learning with time that it's important not only to not prejudge scents - it's almost like I have to not post-judge them until the second or third trial. Funny how the nose works...
