Narciso Rodriguez for Him- Limited Edition

Has anybody tried it, or have any information on it? Is it any different than the regular one, or just in a limited edition bottle? I haven't seen it around anywhere, but apparently it is available.

Mikeperez announced in this thread, that the scent is identical to the original, but in a Ltd Ed shiny bottle.

Get the black bottle instead... it looks better.

I was told by the SA at Holt Redfern in Vancouver BC that the fragrance is the same. I agree that the grey bottle is actually more impressive.

The regular NR for Him is in a grey bottle and you can't tell how much is left in it.

(irish resentfully watching SirSlarty and Snafoo) Ok it is grey. Dark grey, as in "almost black". And I agree, the opaque painting was not a great idea. This is the only perfume where i have gone from 1 ml. vial to mini, to 10 ml. decant, to full 3.4 bottle. It took me a while to like it, but something got me hooked since the first time I smelled it.

This argument could be leveled at several fragrances, including C&S #88, Rive Gauche, Kouros, etc. I've found that if juice stops coming out when I push down on the little sprayer button thingey, then it's time to buy a new bottle!

I saw the bottle in Nordstrom and fell for it. It looks so cool in the silver - I wanted a bottle but I already have the large gray one and I have yet to make a dent in that bottle.

It's a good scent, but don't OD...I wore 4 sprays on Saturday and it almost gagged me...

Speaking of its strength, acceptfacts had a experimental layering thread and I was asked to layer Rochas Man with NR Him. The results were a fight to the death between the two but NR's viiolet won over the mocha accord in Rochas Man.

I saw the shiny bottle at Saks in Chi-town about a month and a half ago... I have to say that I like the regular bottle better.

Sorry but this information is incorrect. Narcisco Rodriguez For Him Musc Collection is an edp and a different formulation than the regular one. The differences are explained in this informative review by Somerville Metro Man:

Actually if my memory serves me correctly, there was once a silver bottle of the original EdT that was a limited edition. It's not to be confused with the Narciso Rodriguez for Him Musc Collection, which was only released a few months ago, not last year (ie. not at the time this thread was created).

L'adventurier is correct, - at the time this thread was created the Musc Collection release didnt exist. The limited edition NR for Him was the fragrance being discussed when I responded to this thread... not the NRFH Musc Collection release.

I realized that this thread was a year old after I replied but I thought I'd leave it up there for the link anyway. So there was a limited edition bottle of the regular edt in 2008? So, if I have this straight, now there's the regular edt, the limited edition Musc Collection edp that I was talking about, and the perfume oil?
