I had planned all week to wear my new Lolita Lempicka Au Masculin on casual Friday, but I wore a brown shirt and decided on the smooth mocha-vanilla goodness of Rochas Man.

Creed's vintage Tabarome here. Nothing jumped out of the collection to me, so I picked this because it's always nice.

Chanel Allure Homme Sport. From a tester.

It's what my father wears. And from what I smell - I'm jealous. I love the grapefruit and cedar.

If there is one thing CdG know how to do and do very well it is incense. This is anopther winner of an incense from them without treading over old ground. The top of this is full on cedar which gives way really quickly to a sweet incense middle before transitioning to the less sweet church incense in the base. This is a straight forward progression executed flawlessly. It reminds me of when I used to burn incense cones in my misspent youth and there would be a little piece of one left when I placed another new cone in the bowl, and there would be this wonderful co-mingling of different incenses. I'm getting the same feeling on my skin from this one. Really, really nice. I think this would be a mass-market winner for CdG if they sold it at this price at every H&M.

A very nice review! I remember after having test-sprayed, I walked out of H&M and walked about a half-block, smelled my wrist, and returned and bought a whole bottle. A well made scent IMO.

Habit Rouge L'Extrait. Each time I wear it, I notice how ... different it is. No "animalic thickness", but a strong, deep woody-resinous scent pumping slowly up from the arm. A propos woody: Gonna watch Vicky Cristina Barcelona tonight - as usual, a new Woody-film feels like a new Guerlain release
