All the rest was normal.

By god's grace 2008 was good. My parents and myself did do well healthwise. Nothing major going wrong. I didn't really do something productive this year and was just laid back. However I've learnt a very important lesson in my life but unfortunately I have had to pay very dearly for it. I didnt take the advice of my closest friends when they were there for me and when I was making a grave mistake. We all make mistakes...I made one too...

In 2009, I am going to undo this mistake (probably my biggest so far) that I made in 2006. I just pray to god that he showers his blessings on my entire family and keeps everyone in good health. The coming year will give me some focus in my life which I had completely lost in the last few years. Its big for me, this coming year. It could really shape up the rest of my life. I am going to work really hard in this coming year and try to make up for a lot, that I've wasted during the last 2 years. Wish me luck guys......I need loads of it......thanks

This has been a decent year. I reached the 3-year mark with my girlfriend in October, so it seems to be working out well with her. We took some nice vacations, and managed to find some really great new restaurants. My whole family continues to be healthy, including all the older members. I made good progress in my software contracting business, in spite of the fact that the financial industry caught a major bitch-slap in Q4. I also managed to hold myself down to a small number of non-bank-breaking speeding tickets, which I suspect resulted from a judicious combination of radar detection, obsequious politeness, and divine intervention. No complaints!

2008 was a year in which I built my business from the ground up, and I'm satisfied with my progress thus far. Thankfully my friends and family have all been well and (for the most part) happy.

2009 will see me reach for new heights in my career, perfume studies and in building a foundation for a new home. I plan to move back to Greece with my wife indefinitely in 2009.

2008 was magnificent. Despite all the emotional troubles, stress from final college year, learning a few lessons the very hard way, failing a Microsoft interview and another one at Google at a very early stage, I still think this has been the best year of my life, and I couldn't have wished for a better start for my twenties.

Graduated computer engineering, got a pretty decent job, and "developed" myself socially, and in terms of character and style to be the exact person I wanted to be at this point in my life. I was also introduced to fragrance in 2008, and my tastes in general have undergone some radical changes.

2009.. Well, hopefully it will be a bigger year. Planning for 2009 is already giving me a headache. The two biggest things on my mind: finish up my apartment, and buy my first car.

One other thing.. I've been single all my life, and now at 22 and with no studying, endless projects or college to keep me busy, I've been feeling quite lonely in the past few weeks. Would be very nice if I found someone (early) this year. I have my fingers crossed (please god, make her a funny and beautiful programmer that loves fragrances and electronic music).

2008 was bittersweet. I won't be sorry to say goodbye to this year, but some good things did happen, too. It was (and is) a transitional year. I don't want to wish my life away, but I'm very much looking forward to 2009.
