tobacco snuff

I'm already familiar with adding fragrances to unscented aftershave balm, unscented body lotion and unscented shaving cream.
I started to think about another possibility just when I started a brand new hobby some months ago.

Now what got me started was that ear plugs (headphones) are used for the ears with great results,
glasses, sunglasses and lenses are used for the eyes with great results,
but what's there for the nose??

The answer is SNUFF!

I noticed there are approx. two hundred different tabaccos available, some are flavoured with menthol like famous McChrystal's Original & Genuie or the german multiseller Gletscherprise.
Good in their own right, but not what I was looking for.
I was explicitely looking for a tabacco mixture that can be used to be flavoured with original designer or even better, niche fragrances!

After some weeks of research and testing I'm so glad I finally found an ideal tabacco mixture.
I didn't actually know if this is gonna work out at all and how much fragrance (tabacco) is needed, but the final results are so mindblowing, that I want to share this now.
I thought probably only tabacco related fragrances might work, thinking first of Knize Ten, Vintage Tabarome and maybe Cuir Mauresque, but oh no even citrus fragrances work extremely well. Virgin Island Water is amazing!

The whole drydown of a fragrance can be experienced and the feeling is like listening to Ludwig van Beethoven with AKG headphones the very first time.
It's still the same music (fragrance), but what a difference it makes.

Who wants a free Musc Ravageur sample first?

Just a second - let me make sure I understand you correctly. You took tobacco snuff (I did try this stuff years ago when I was a smoker) and you scented it with scents, and then used it directly, like normal snuff, sniffing it into the nose?

PS - I'm not criticising this - just trying to get my mind around the possibilities...

Yes.
Of course you need only the slightest hint of fragrance. One or two drops should do.
Important is to wait until the alcohol has evaporated, but then all that's left is the essential fragrance.
When the mix is right, the smell of the tabacco and the fragrance is balanced.
I usually start with one drop of fragrance and then add tabacco until the balance is right.
This works fantastic!

Btw. snuff has a long tradition here in europe and it's a great alternative to smoking cigarettes.
I quit cigarettes in the year 1999. The dosage of nicotine you get with snuff is so minimal, you won't even recognize with some pinches.
Additionally the ban of cigarettes in bars and retaurants is another point to quit smoking. Snuff can be the ideal substitute.
Statistics and research have shown that it's more or less a save form of consuming tabacco. Nothing get's burned like cigarettes, cigars or pipe tabacco.
"Snus" is another smokeless alternative to smoking, but that can't be mixed with fragrance ....

Good tobacco is so soft and fluffy in consistence, you will barely feel it.
