So here's the thing guys - if you like rich, spicy oriental fragrances try this expirement: Test out some of the masculines that are so popular here on BN like JHL
or even Jubilation XXV
Then, if you're up for it, test my SOTD today which is:Opium
NOT Opium Pour Homme
, the YSL scent marketed to women.
The Eau de Toilette version, I am wearing today is outstanding. The scent warms up in cool weather and adds a comforting touch of cinnamon, resins and very light florals. There is no candied sweetness in this scent (like many women's scents being released these days) and a little goes a long way.
Of course, I know that many men don't wear this scent due to the olfactory associations they have with women they know, who wore this scent. I personally don't have to worry about that. I did try the Eau de Parfum, before the EdT, and found it too aldehyde prominent. The EdT is now my favorite. I still have samples of the SdP and the parfum to test, but for now the affordable, accessible and oh-so-easy-to-wear EdT has sufficiently impressed me.
Thanks shadesofbleu, for the sample!
