Davidoff Cool Water Freeze Me @ Walgreens

I was perusing today's Walgreens circular, and I came across this section where it said "Davidoff Cool Water Freeze Me EdT-Only at Walgreens!" No price was listed, except the fact that it was $10 off for 4 days only. It's not listed in the Basenotes Directory, nor could I find it on Osmoz.

Frankly, I'm surprised that it hit Walgreens and not the likes of Ulta or Sephora... I guess Coty Prestige must have been squeezed out of shelf space at both the department stores and category-killers to launch it there.

Given that I like Cool Water, and there's a Walgreens on every corner (and I have to go to Walgreens today to pick up a few things), I guess I'll have to try it... heck, they always have testers!

I'm not sure about Freeze Me but I have tried Frozen and it was nearly identical to the original. I saw the same flyer and Cool Water Summer Fizz had the same deal on it. I honestly don't want to try either and I'm a Cool Water fan.

Freeze me is the summer '08 version and quite nice.
Its not as metallic as the original, more fruity(citrussy), almost sour.
I like the original better though it's definitely worth giving it a try.

I was just going to post about this too. My local Walgreens also had a 4.2 ounce bottle of Cool Water Summer Fizz for $10 off, which brought the price to $25.99 I believe.

Yes, but what about your desire to have every single Cool Water flanker?


EDIT: Other than it being a limited edition, what's the gimmick SirSlant?

The side of the box says:

"Freeze me: for an extreme freezing effect, keep me in the fridge."

Since it smells just like Cool Water, I'd call that a gimmick.

Neat bottle, though. Gradient white to clear frosted blue glass.

I'm a big fan of the original Cool Water (not the new sour lavender-Water called Cool Water)
@ SirSlarty, which Cool Water special edition is the greenest, or mintiest? and doesn't have that awful abrasive "cactus sap" note that was in one of them?

For comparison's sake, if Cool Water smells like GIT *cough* then Freeze Me is GIT + Platnium Egoiste but more watery. Oh and you stick it in the fridge!

Did I say that you stick Freeze Me in the fridge yet? Yeah you stick it in the fridge.

Really! Thats freaking hilarious. These people must think we're stupid. Change the bottle, same scent, and tell you to put it in the fridge, GENIOUS!

Since we're talking about putting frags in the fridge, do you think there is enough alcohol to put it in the freezer without it hardening, and would it ruin the frag. I have no intention of doing this, I'm just curious.
