Unbound, Aqva, AdG, CeruttiSi ..?

Thread Starter
I'm having a 'watery' phase at the moment. I own Unbound and CerrutiSi and they both have a watery note that stays through out the development. Both last a good while too. I enjoy this light watery quality about them as it is refreshing and it smells damn good too. AdG and Aqva are yet to make it into my wardrobe but I'm pretty sure I'll own Aqva in a week's time. So are there anymore designer fragrances that have this watery aquatic feel to them without the heaviness of Issey Miyake or Kenzo? Just light and watery with decent power. All suggestions are welcome!

Not my favorite category of scents, but if you like 'em try Truth by Calvin Klein or He Wood by DSquared.

360 Red
Versace pour Homme
Quasar
Mare
Hugh Parsons blue
Pino Blue

All have similar aquatic, watery vibes to them.

Nautica original, Eternity Summer 2006 and Jill Sander Pure Man and perhaps Fred Hayman Touch in Love.

Once you get Aqva, and since you already have Unbound, you may find that you have this genre covered.

Earlier today I was wearing Aqva, and now I just sprayed some Nautica Voyage on and couldn't help noticing some similarities. So this is something you might enjoy. In prder to pique your curiosity a little more, I'll quote from the latest review in the BN directory (by fragranceluvr) because I agree with him and he said it better than I could:

"First I have to say that I LOVE LOVE LOVE this fragrance...this one is in my top five (5) of fragrances. Nautica Voyage is a breezy, clean, fresh and woody fragrance. It is a scent that would mostly be worn during the warmer months and during the day for work or weekend; but I love it so much and the woody facets make this wearable during the Autumn months going into Winter, but not quite cold weather wear. The sillage is moderate [meaning it wears somewhat close to the skin but is still detectable] and the scent lasts for a while on skin and in clothes afterwards. Nautica Voyage has a sea-breeze. ocean-spray, clean shower, wet teakwood aroma to it. The clean marine facets stay throughout the scent's life even when the dry-down starts to appear woody. I DO HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS FRAGRANCE...VERY WEARABLE!!!
Easy going and enjoyable!"

I like SirSlarty's recommendation of Hugh Parsons Blue (otherwise known as "Traditional").

Not sure if this fits your classification of "heavy", but Givenchy Blue Label is worth a smell. It has that definite aquatic feel that sticks around, but the dry down is more complex than most designer aquatics.

I concur with Givenchy Blue, and must also hasten to add Herrera's Aqua to the suggestions already made.

Truth is really good, i wore it for a long time

Zegna Z is pretty good too, and i dont know if Clubman by Truefitt and hill could be considered an aquatic, but it does smell clean.

Aqua is most likely the king of designer aquatics. It's really just damn good.

Aqva smells, in my opinion, discreet, clean and wearable.
