Monsieur de Givenchy - old style bottle or new?

Is there a difference in scent between the old style bottle short bottle with the black cap and the newer, tall bottle with the clear cap? Or is the formulation the same?

Thanks.

I also have the ,,new'' one and I also asked the same question once.
There is no difference between old and new, just another bottle, thats it.

That's good news because I'm getting to the bottom of my old bottle. MdG is one I often reach for when going out to dinner because it's so traditional and restrained, and seems not to distract from what's on my plate. I tried Eau Sauvage, with which MdG shares a basic attitude, again the other day in Sephora and loved it. There's a lot to be said for these gentlemen's eau de colognes from the 50's and 60's. I used to find them just boring but now I find them interestingly subdued. They are the dry humor, the clap on the shoulder to denote affection between guyguys, of the perfume world. Check out this cool review of MdG at NowSmellThis.
