gupts, your dogs are adorable! What are their names?

Here is Cali with her new Christmas toys last night. Sorry for the poor pic quality, it's from my cellie It looks like she has some black or gray on her back, but in real life she is all a golden blonde color. She is half lab and half Golden retriever, BTW.

Ha, go mate with yourself pal, you'll take PayPal and like it, there's always the alternative of me flying "down under" and doing a little dog snatching

OK, how about 5 FB of Clive Christian X & #1 and 1ml of Jade East

Can I call a friend?

Here is Viktor with one of his new Christmas toys. I think he liked this one the best but it really was funny seeing his reaction to the squeaky one.

Bad kitties in a messy bed

Mouse doesn't mind.

Salvadore looks too mean to care, but he's actually just a mush.

Harvey refused to pose or help make the bed.

Well, it's just not Christmas around here without Bows on Cats! Here are Yum Yum and Foxy Loxy, taken yesterday:

There's pics of the rest of my cats in my photo album. If I posted them all here, I'd just hog the thread!

Haunani, I'll definitely be joining that cat group! Crazy cat ladies, UNITE!

Here are some shots of my recently deceased cat, Agustus "Gus".

There's a cat in there somewhere

Cats, the other, other white meat.

Which one's the turkey?

Gus doing what he does best. RIP, Gus-Gus.
Sir Slarty, Gus looks like he was a sweet character and a great sport. I'm sorry that you recently lost him. He was clearly very happy and well loved.

Here's Black Magic - or just Magic for short - he's the Lab of my life!!! 7 months old and newly neutered...

I have to say there are some VERY handsome pets in here!

This was my wife's familys dog Jonny... sadly just a couple of hours ago we heard the news that he had been mauled and killed last friday by two bastard Rottweilers. Poor Mira is heart-broken.

RIP Johnny.

Oh my gosh, Dimitri! That is horrible! I'm so very sorry! That is an awful thing to happen.

Here is my baby...this pic is 1-1/2 yrs old, need to take some new ones. She looks so clean and well groomed here. (I'm sorry this pic so so big! I don't know how to shrink them yet).

sorry about what happened Dimitri... most of the times is the owners fault, I had a rottweiler and he was a very well behave dog and friend.

Sirslat. your cat looked wonderful and seems he liked to eat a lot :-)

great pets guys!

Basteri, these dogs belong to the family's neighbours. In December the same two dogs broke through the fence dividing the two properties and killed a small pig that was being kept in a pen. And now this. I think they've acquired a taste for blood, and, I absolutely agree with you - the owner is also at fault.

Sirslarty - GARFIELD immediately springs to mind. Did Gus like lasagne?

Thanks for the kind words everyone.

Her name is Queenie, which is what the rescue org. people were calling her. So I kept it. At one point I was going to call her Coco, until my hubby's friend said that was a stripper's name. So Queenie it is, Queenie Gabini, Queen of Beans, the Great Yeti (Tibetan Terrier), the fabulous stalker of bunnies and birds, squirrels and salamanders, and all around champion mooch.

I love seeing everybody's furry friends. They are all so sweet looking.
if those dogs attacked for a second time I am afraid they must be taken somewhere else, next time they can go for a kid or for an adult. Pity really but they have to go.
I can imagine how your family feels... if it were my pup someone should lock me in the house and call the police because they will meet my 12 gage.
Sir Slarty, is your cat a Main Coon? They are really lovely.
by the way Gupts , great pups and great picture.

The name Queenie is adorable for her! Looks like she might be The Queen around your place! Plus it sounds like she is a brave hunteress!
Now, as for the name 'Coco', I beg to differ...Coco is clearly a classy Chanel family name. "Bambi" is more of a stripper's .

Our baby Momo...a Border Collie (my daughter's dog, full name Momo Enu which she tells me means peach dog in Japanese..??)
Talk about herding issues! He's completely and adorably insane.

Buddy and Lucky, our Labradoodles, now 7 years old. The big one on the left thinks he's still a puppy. And he frolics like one. The smaller one on the right is the alpha dog in our family of three canines. And she's quite neurotic. And sweet. And neurotic!

I'm very sorry to hear about your wife's dog, Dimitri. Just so sad. It's like losing a member of the family.

lizzie! You must have a housefull of doggie lovers! Those pooches are CUTE! I can only imagine the craziness....

OMG Dimitri...that is so sad.......The owner of those 2 killer dogs should be booked and put behind bars.....The dogs should also be locked up since they've turned into 'murderers' now particularly since you mentioned they killed a pig too.....Ofcourse nothing can bring back this cutie to life but its important to deal with it since it can happen again.......

I've posted pics of the Wild Poodles of Somerville but here are a couple more:

First Georges or as we like to call him G-Dog, after having received a treat, an hourly occurance in our house. yes the dogs are spoiled.

His partner in crime Rocco or his street name of Ruckus. Here he is in his neighborhood patrolling position ready to let anyone who dares walk by know that this is his house and his yard.

They are very smart and they generally have a good temperament. Both are Rescue dogs we got as puppies. Georges is still skittish because this guy used to kick and swat him as a puppy and he has never fully gotten over that. He is gentle and sweet.
Rocco on the other hand was always loved and the difference is that makes him a little more of a trouble maker. He barks at everything and he's a counter cruiser. If we leave something on the kitchen counter, its gone.
They both regularly crawl into our laps while we watch TV or I try to read.

Actually, my real dogs are a standard poodle named Reuben, and a schnauzer named Dieter. (I just have jpg pix on my computer...don't know how to attach here.)

Awwwwwww. The term 'counter cruiser' cracks me up! They sound very loving, and are obviously well loved.

Angeldust, Timmy is gorgeous! All of the pets here look adorable and well-loved. Dimi, I'm so sorry about Jonny. What an awful thing to happen.

I posted this picture of our dog a year ago, after a beagle won the Westminster Best in Show award for the first time ever:

Oh debbborra, such sweet furries. I thought I was alone in naming my sweetheart MOUSE!

Dimitri: I'm so sorry about Jonny. That's just horrendous. I think those Rotts should at least be quarantined.

SirSlanty: "The other white meat..." HAH! Such a chewy tummy. I love the Everest of clothes too. (And I'm sorry for the loss of your dear friend.)

SMM: The real and actual Wild Poodles! I love the fact that furniture is no obstacle. One needs proper height to guard.

ubuandibeme: What a natural beauty.

Angeldust: What eyes! Such a soulful face. I've got a similar kitty, and yours reminded me of him.

lilybelle: A real sweetie. I'm always amused at how between groomings Tan becomes the New White. It's almost blinding when they come back all snowy, isn't it?

LOVE THIS THREAD!

Yes, we are all a little insane. But in a good way. I was never a full bore dog lover until I had my own. Now I'm ridiculous with the treats and the idiotic talk and letting them up on the furniture.....really bonkers.

I LOVE all the photos of the pets. I'm a cat lover as well, and Sir Slarty I just adore your photos of fat Gus. So sorry he's gone. I had a chubby cat through school and she made me laugh so much. She was worth her weight in gold to me--total stress relief. Now with the 3 dogs we're a little overrun with pets, and though I would love to add cats, the dogs would go nuts, and it wouldn't be fair to the kitty, either. Some day!

And SMM, the poodles. I just LOVE them. I've known many Standards, now that I am a full blown animal lover, and they are so smart and fun! Some day I may have to adopt one!
Lushsoup I just saw your comment about perfuming the furries. I spritz them with with a product made especially for dogs. It's good for their coats, and makes them smell all herbal and nice, nothing cloying or irritating. And of course the name of this is escaping me right now, but I'll look it up once home.
My two kids. The one on the right is Chubby, 10 years old. He loves barking at the lizard on the ceiling. Once a year he will go absolutely crazy by the sight and sound of firecracker during Chinese new year! - -a

The other one is Kylie, almost 5 months old. I didn't want to adopt her at first 'cos I was afraid Chubby will get jealous, and he did. She has a habit of wiping her mouth after breakfast with my trousers...yes the one I'm in, all dressed up, ready to go to work!

Jasper ~ do you ever wear black?!
Ubu, I love wearing black. There was no problem in the last ten years because Chubby is a really good boy. He never jumps on me. But last couple of months after adopt bouncy Kylie, I have a mini lint roller in my handbag!
